No, the Yorubas and the Hausa-Fulanis feel the war will be one sided and fought in the Southeast alone like in 1967.


Even in 1967, with a population of less than 10million people. Igbos fought the rest of Nigeria plus Britain plus Egypt plus other world powers for 3 years and took the war to Benue, Kogi, Edo, Ondo, Ogun, etc and over 50,000 Nigerian soldiers died in the war.


Talk more of today that Igbo population is over 40million and spread all over the world with high level financial power and international links here and there with individual calibers unlike in 1967.



They should know that why the fight against ESN by Nigerian soldiers seems to be only in the East is because majority of Igbos haven't seen this as a full declaration of war against Igbos, once it becomes a full war, Igbos all over Nigeria will stop economic activities and begin to rally together as one people being fought against.
