Napoleon55:Rhor might slowly ease Ighalo in but if we are up against tough offensive sides, don't get shocked if Rhor starts Ighalo ahead of Osimhen. If Rhor is going conservative, he will likely start Ighalo ahead because Ighalo suits that style more. This is what happens when coaches that prefer a conservative approach against top teams. Remember how the likes of Lukaku, Mata, De Bruyne, Salah, and David Luiz did not suit Mourinho at Chelsea. That is why Rhor can prefer to start Awaziem as a right-back over the likes of Aina and Ebuehi. Mourinho is a defensive-minded manager and wants his back four to always worry about the worst-case scenario, rather than what will happen if everything goes right – which is the mentality of Luiz, and why he didn’t fit in at Chelsea... From Independent on Why Mourinho sold David Luiz Rhor's mindset is that the opposition are better and the team must shape up to nullify their greatness. He does not coach with the mentality that his side is better. I think this is the biggest reason why we should start sticking to indigenous coaches. No matter how we put it, we believe in ourselves more than these foreign coaches do. We believe we are exceptional and can achieve great things. These white coaches see us as incapable. So with all the flair and gifts of our players, Rhor does not see it. That is why he needs more defenders than midfielders. |

Not generalizing because Westerhoff, Bonfere Jo, and Bora Milutinovic had immense faith in us. But, generally, the foreign coaches don't have the same faith in us as we do. Rhor doesn't. That is why he is always out looking for foreign-borns. He should have the same view for all. Whether foreign-born or born in Nigeria. |

Either way, let us ease on Ighalo. He is just answering a call to serve the country. He has served us well over the years. Showed passion and commitment. Even outside football, he was one of the few footballers that spoke in solidarity for Nigerians being maltreated. He is also a good person at heart. So I plead we get our minds and hearts behind Ighalo. Support him and let us hope his contribution can help us shine. |

Rhor is likely opting for a negative approach. The conservative way will need the best players that suit it. Ighalo is one of them. So let us accept it and give our support to the team. Hoping the Super Eagles deliver results. |

TheGoodJoe:I have never been a fan of Ighalo..but football is a funny old game. His inclusion might be a blessing in future tournaments. I am a fan of the SE. I support the team come rain or shine irrespective of which eleven is selected on match day. |

Danielnino00:You make a series of conclusions with reference to a conversation but you say ABSOLUTELY NOTHING of what was discussed. I've said it before, l actually spoke to Ovie directly about this many year's ago when he was at Liverpool fc and enquired from Lookman. I didn't get my information from the media or nairaland. I could add l spoke to people in both the English FA as well as the NFF and players agents. They paint a very different picture from what your attempting to present with misinformation, disinformation and mislead people here. The NFF IMO have simply not carried out due diligence INTENTIONALLY for reason known to themselves. I gave the example of Zaha a much more controversial application to change allegiance which was laced with animosity. That not withstanding the application was concluded in the affirmative in less than 4 weeks. You are clutching at straws, FIFA processes are very clear. |

This Ighalo matter is a clear show of interference from the NFF in Rohr's technical team's work Ighalo CANNOT offer anything better than what we presently have, it's not that we lack players in his position How much did Ighalo offer Pinnick and his pin head NFF sef ![]() |

Subzero047:But he was never an exceptional Left back in the general scheme of things. Actually most of our players are average with a few who are above average. I will not class any of our players as " world class" the potential of a few be to become YES but right now NO. |

oloriooko:That's ASSUMPTIVE. Rohr has been the one clamouring for lghalo's inclusion. But there are many groups lobbying for the players who will meet Thier self interest all in the NFF . There is a lot of politics. |

Leicester City midfielder Wilfred Ndidi has changed his agent amid rumors regarding his future. The Foxes anchor man is being linked with a move to a bigger club, with the likes of Manchester UnitedArsenal interested in his signature. Rory Rebbeck, an agent with Octagon, stated on the social media platform LinkedIn that he was announcing Ndidi signing with his agency. Ndidi was previously with the Germany-based FirstEleven International Sports Management firm. The midfielder, who is valued at £54 million by Transfermarkt, signed a six-year contract in 2018 with Leicester |

komekn:The only thing adding a question mark on ndidi's status as world class is d club he plays 4, otherwise he is a genuine world class. Ejuke and chukueze are authentic top players, and potential world class. While osimhen is almost world class. Ndidi - world class Osimhen - 90% world class Chukwueze - top player Ejuke - top player Others are average, above average and below average. Iheanacho - above average/top player Iwobi - above average/top player Musa - above average Ighalo- average Simon - average Onuachu - average Aribo - average Etabo - average Onyeka - average Balogun- average Ekong- average Awaziem- average Aina- average Sanusi- average Maduka- average And this team is good enough for AFCON trophy and WC Q/final |

Napoleon55:Chukwueze and ejuke are still regarded as average players apart from some people here ,we need to be sincere they are still average players ,do they have the potential to be world class ? Yes they do but they need to improve ASAP before they both clock 25 Osimhen is not 90 percent world class but still above average at least ,he needs to keep working hard and consistency is needed for the next few seasons also Iheanacho is a little above average but dude is not helping himself Musa is an average player Iwobi is an average player Ndidi is world class according to me but according to the football world he is not but above average ,maybe because he his yet to play for a big club I know many of you will come for my head because the truth is bitter ,but it’s fine Make una Dey cool down sha |

zuchyblink:These are their best players. Over the years, The Ivorians have had a steady growth in football. So these are the best. Can you list your best Nigerian players and tell me the older ones are better? That is because we had a gap in development which changed with the Maigari blueprint of youth development. The point is too simple but you have chosen to drag it. List your best Nigerian players and their ages. At least list your top 10 Nigerian players. |
