See ehn, as one local philosopher once told me, people have their preferences and viewpoints which is always right. He said if there's a debate about who is better between Pele and Maradona, no matter what Maradona does, the Maradona fan will say Diego is better, even if Maradona takes off his shorts on a pitch and decides to shait. The fan will say it was done to use smell to chase his opponents away.
So my brother, osondi owendi, you have refused to see our point and unfortunately I don't get your point too. Jah bless.

grin You'd see I didn't contest Napoleon55's point. If you're on the same page with him, there's nothing to argue. All I challenged was the laurels part.

But we de alright. grin You wan make me de imagine Maradona do something like that niii

Haha. But for the laurels part, it wasn't the teams fault now, we need to acknowledge that. At least every tournament they went for they excelled, do you know we also played the confederation cup in Saudi in 1995, come and see how well we performed too, wont forget the friendly against England too, Wembley knew a team played there. Las las, they may not have won many laurels, but they feared no team, flair, bravery was always on the line and you are guaranteed beautiful soccer not dour boring soccer we have been enduring for a while now.

Through their official website, the Danish Superligaen have informed that Racing Genk loanee Stephen Odey has won the Goal of the Week for round fourteen in the division.

Odey's strike for Randers in a 3-1 loss to FC Midtjylland has been voted the most eye-catching goal scored by a Superliga player in the last round of matches.

Seven minutes into the second half, the Nigeria international received a pass inside the box from left-back Oliver Bundgaard and lashed home a superb volley to reduce the deficit.

It was his fifth goal in the Danish top-flight this term - having also found the net against Nordsjaelland, Brondby and Odense BK in previous rounds.

Odey's three goals in October saw him earn a spot in the Danish Superliga Team of the Month for October 2021 and he has been shortlisted for the Player of the Month accolade.

Meanwhile, FC Midtjylland defensive midfielder Raphael Onyedika has been named in the Team of the Week for matchday fourteen.

The 20-year-old was the star performer against Randers, scoring a brace and providing an assist to help the Wolves claim a win.

CSKA Moscow Nigerian forward Chidera Ejuke has been included in the Russian Premier League Team of the Month for October.

The list was compiled by football facts and statistics website whoscored.com, and published on their verified Twitter handle on Wednesday.

Ejuke was impressive for CSKA last month as he helped them record three wins in five games (one defeat and one draw).

The 23-year-old found the back of the net two times in the league to take his tally for the season to four.

In the Team of the Week that is in a 4-4-2 formation, Ejuke is placed on the left side of the four-man midfield.

He is in the Super Eagles squad for this month’s 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Liberia and Cape Verde.

I feel ighalo will shine in his return during the WC qualifiers and AFCON.

His exploits the the last AFCON and its qualifying series, his style of play which suits African football, the belief that Rohr has on him coupled with his familiarity with other players in the team, his experience and of course his current form. All these factors put together are a big advantage for him.

The chances are higher for him.

We need them back honestly, our LB positions need good experienced players else we'll be disgraced in the coming AFCON. These current players have been playing rubbish. We need ready made players to fill in for the new guys cos they don't seem to cut in games and have been misfiring. Which of our LBs can take shots like Taye Taiwo let alone score for the national team?

cheesy cheesy cheesy cheesy

We need Taye Taiwo or Chidi Odiah back so they can add their experience to our LBs. Collins and Zaidu are new players who have been misfiring that's why we even lost to CAR cheesy cheesy cheesy

We go call everybody back so we'd have all the experience so we win AFCON and world cup

If not for Abacha, who knows what we could have won in Afcon between 1996 and 2000? We missed out participating in 2 afcon tournaments because we were banned, yet we made it to 2nd round of WC, won silver in 2000 after a year hiatus.
I agree without reservations

With that mad man anything is possible. He’ll even tell you Osimhen is too young to start. Hence, his decision to start Ighalo so Osimhen can learn from the bench as part of his tactics..
This is the kind of thing Rohr can say.

forgiveness:
It seems to be a very tough decision.

Ighalo coming in is not bad and it will be unfair to drop Onuachu who runs of form has continued this season from where he stopped last season.

Probably, a panic decision due to the injury that stopped Osimhen from playing the last match.

It shows, the coach doesn’t have confidence in the backup strikers on the bench.

Then my question is, why bring them to the team if you can not rely on them?

The coach has nothing to offer.

Excellent Post

Remember those days people blamed our mediocre play against teams (during the pre-WC 2018 tourney) on Rohr playing mind games

Chai, the good old days grin grin grin grin grin grin
