There is no way dey would have been rescued all of them in a day...and there is no way u want the rescue to be fast ...we are dealing with a collapsed 21 story building with people trapped..they can't just do gragra and bulldozer the whole thing..

Prevention is much better and cheaper than cure...this should be a lesson to Lagos state government when it it comes to supervising and granting approval for highrise buildings or any building at all.

This building was originally approved to have 8 floors, this man built 10 floors and the building was sealed and he was arrested last year.

Orders came from above and he was released and paid money to allow him to build 11 additional floors.

Only the governor can give an order from above for a sealed building to be unsealed, and now he wants me to mourn for 3 days?

I will only sympathize with the innocents who lost their lives due to one man's greed and bigmanism.

Sanwo Olu who gave the order should mourn, the VP who is owns the land and is an investor in the project should mourn.

Those who died in the last collapse in Lagos didn't deserve to and sure didn't get state wide mourning. Are they not people too?
With all the complicity of the Lagos State Government Ministry, Department and Agencies with the property owner, why do they want to insert themselves in the manner?

Please let the family of the dead mourn in private
Let the family of those who died from negligence sue and get compensation
Let the state officials derelict in their duties be held accountable.

To mourn your incompetence I should think! I refuse to believe that Sanwo-Olu did not know about that construction job. To say that he does not know about that project doubly mark him out as grossly incompetent. A project of such magnitude cannot escape the attention of a competent Governor of a State with a tiny land mass as Lagos State. The GM could not have acted alone in the matter. He is now the fall guy. Some say he will take the pill for The BAT and his people.

We did not learn from the Synagogue building collapse, till today no one has been held responsible for for that mishap till the owner pass away. This Ikoyi accident has complicity of people at helms of affairs in Lagos state, the probe inaugurated by Sanwo olu is just to buy time till the dust settles.
