Seeing the way some Christians put it, without baptising you're not yet complete. But nowhere in the Bible was it recorded that the disciples were baptized by immersion. What's your thoughts on this? |

Nowhere was it written? Read the Gospel of Jesus again. ![]() Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.Although, one could come before the other e.g. The Spirit baptism might be the first but the water baptism is still compulsory. |

Fabulouslouie:Some of the disciples of John followed Jesus. Definitely they must have been baptized by John. {John 1:35-40} Jesus also baptized {John 3:22-26}, definitely he must have baptized those that wasn't baptized by John. Paul was baptized after his conversion. Many disciples after the death of Christ were baptized with water and spirit or spirit first then water. Please read those Bible passages in curly braces. |

Fabulouslouie:If your intention is to gain access into the Kingdom of God, then yes, you must be born from Water and from Spirit- John 3 vs 1 - 21 & Mark 16 vs 16 - 19 & Matthew 3 vs 7 - 11 & Ezekiel 36 vs 25 - 27 ![]() There is no such thing as immersion as correct kind of baptism. God Himself described the ritual, in relation to His New Covenant, as a sprinkling of pure water to wash away the stains of idolatry on His people, this in Ezekiel 36 vs 25 - 27. ![]() And we know Jesus Christ never stated anywhere in His teaching that only those who experience an immersion in water are those baptized and saved. No, instead Jesus Christ's stipulation regarding it is that it be done in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. ![]() What this means is any doctrine that teaches immersion as the only recognized way is a lie, and not of God or Jesus Christ. ![]() |

Fabulouslouie:Some of them where previously disciples of John the Baptist, so they must have been baptized by Him. And since Jesus Christ Himself commanded baptisms, formerly in Mark 16 vs 16 - 19, it follows that as His followers, even though not written of, the others did so in obedience of Him. ![]() |
