e be like Simon wayward crosses dey be like odegbami own for him eye's grin grin grin
My brother those crosses never meet any of our players since 2 years now. Sometimes I wonder who they are directed towards cos it doesn't pass the knees of opposition defenders too.

That lineup is a killer lineup which should beat Liberia well. Let's see what our oga will cook this time.

That your LB and RB switch is spot on.
You have vision like an eagle.

Putting Awaziem on the Right would force me to play either Balogun or Ekong. I wouldn't go that route because while Ekong is erratic, Balogun is too soft and slow though celebral. I aint sold on Collins and Zaidu, but I would pick one, preferably Collins because he is more mature though average.

If I had a full house, Aina is occupying the LB position, Ebuehi to the RB, while Akpoguma and Awaziem anchors at the CB.

How wish Rohr can take this risk against Liberia.

But still the conservative coach will barely make any change

Yes he can't play both at the same time .
Not only that, Osimhen will always be in front of Ighalo as far as the XI is concerned.

Maduka Okoye has revealed that several teams including three from the Premier League were interested in his signature before he agreed terms with Watford.

The Super Eagles glovesman claims that his agent also held talks with Southampton, Burnley, Crystal Palace and two clubs from France.

Sparta Rotterdam have agreed to sell the goalkeeper to Watford for a fee of seven million euros but he will not be leaving the Eredivisie club immediately or during the January transfer window but will be moving to the Hornets in the summer of 2022.

A day after keeping his first clean sheet of the season against Willem II, Okoye signed a five-and-a-half-year contract at Watford with effect from January 1, 2022 following a successful medical examination in England.

Though the Nigerian has ambitions of playing in the Premier League, it is not a forgone conclusion that he will make his English top-flight debut next season as the Hornets sit in seventeenth position eleven matches into the season.

"I believe in the quality of the team, I pray and hope they stay in it. It should work with this trainer (Claudio Ranieri), " Okoye said to Transfermarkt via Voetbal International.

"My management had been in contact with several clubs since the beginning of this year: Southampton, Burnley and Crystal Palace were also after me and were in talks with my management."

Okoye has reported for international duty in Morocco ahead of Nigeria's upcoming 2022 World Cup qualifying match against Liberia.

Only two of the invited players Odion Ighalo and John Noble are still being expected in camp ahead of the national team's matchday five 2022 World Cup qualifying match against Liberia.

Noble was called in as a replacement for Omonia Nicosia netminder Francis Uzoho who couldn't make it to Morocco due to illness, while Ighalo has been recalled to the squad more than two years after he called time on his international career.

The Nigeria Football Federation confirmed on Wednesday morning that Napoli star Victor Osimhen has linked up with his international teammates in Tangier, bringing the total number of players in camp to twenty-two.

Nigeria were handed a boost on Sunday when Osimhen returned to action approximately a week after he aggravated a calf injury in training, and the number 9 erased all doubts about his fitness by logging ninety minutes against Hellas Verona.

The former Lille man is Nigeria's top scorer in 2022 World Cup qualifying with two goals, an honour he shares with Leicester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho.

The Super Eagles will have their first training session today at 1030 hours, a team meeting will hold at 1215 hours, lunch is at 1300 hours and then by 1700 hours the Super Eagles will have another training session.

The fact that ighalo hasn’t arrived at camp so far cast doubt of his ‘confirmation of appearance’ are we even sure, that ighalo confirmed that he is rescinding his retirement decision? Or did nff just decided to invite him

CSKA Moscow forward Chidera Ejuke says he is now more connected with his Super Eagles teammates.

Ejuke has been a revelation for the Eagles since breaking into the team.

The skillful forward has shown improvement which has seen him getting a starting shirt in some of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers.

And he admits getting connected more with his colleagues has really helped.

“I’m getting familiar with my teammates and I think that was really important for me,” he said on Brila FM Breakfast Show. “And now it’s like more connection with the team as well.

“With the teammates we understand each other which helps you play better

“We will stay collectively, play as a team and represent the country and do our best to win the games.”

Ejuke is expected to play a part in this month’s qualifiers against Liberia and Cape Verde.

Balogun is too soft to start a match for me. In this line up, I would sit him to try to form a synergy between Awaziem and Akpoguma. I'm getting Aribo off for Onyeka.

I like my team playing hard. Awaziem is so rugged and energetic, hence my love for him. A player like Omeruo wouldn't make my team
personally, Aribo over Onyeka because Aribo have more goals in him

I'm looking forward to 3 groups to see how it pans out. All last day fixtures (if they win MD5)
1. Algeria vs Burkina Faso
2. Cameroon vs CIV
3. Ghana vs S/Africa

I really want Burkina Faso to beat Algeria. They have been a decent and energetic side. Players are very athletic.

The remaining 2 games would be like final matches. S/Africa and CIV would have all (draw at least) to play for.

Interesting fixtures awaits us this weekend.
