Ngige is right, medical school in Nigeria is cheap, outside the country, you pay average of #25million for just a year!

Like they do in Germany and Finland right? Idiot

You are so myopic in reasoning. This is simple logic. Fix the health sector, pay the doctors well. How would you be owing professional doctors months of salary and expect them to do what, go steal to feed their family?! You no get doctor for family na why. fools

Any Doctor that wants to Work abroad should school abroad. Simple. You can't take our cheap education to go and work abroad.
If you are not comfortable with the policy, you can as well drop out of the Medical school and create space for those who want to serve thier FATHERLAND.
This is akin to the OKOROS that are earning a living in the North but will cowardly always come online to spew trash/fallacies about tge North.
Sorry mate, the pple you just mentioned above can't even help themselves. They are currently cooling in their respective dungeonsgrin

I never saw you comment when the minister of health said that the country has too many doctors and some can take up tailoring and farming.

It is only when it is a harebrained suggestion like this that some of you traitors come out of the woodwork like weevils.

This is the right way to go.

As far as Nigeria is concerned, there is no tuition fee when for all Federal Universities.
Many Doctors know what it takes to become a doctor abroad. Many of them pay students loan years after graduation. Aside that, you have to be recommended by a professor after your fist degree in order to gain admission to study Medicine.

Nigeria system is the cheapest, yet they are well trained. Reason Nigerian Trained Doc. are "hot cake" abroad.

Government needs to do more in terms of remunerations for Doctors, but the truth is Nigeria can't pay the same amount they are being paid abroad.

If you know you want to practice abroad, get trained there.

Fun fact. Nigeria's system is not the cheapest. As a matter of fact when you consider standing economic realities, it is very expensive. What is the minimum wage in this country? What is the tuition fee for medical degree in OOU?

Just so you know medical degrees are completely free of charge to citizens of Scandinavian countries like Sweden.

Nigerian trained doctors are 'hot cake' because we thrived under very toxic, mentally debilating conditions back at home. Not because the quality of training is better. More because we can function under immense stress.

You are the fo.olish one because you cannot tame your son. Is he not from you? This is why others do not trust you. Look at the APGA Ojukwu gave you...where is it today? Even Bianca had to write a long epistle recently. Instead of this one to join his people in APGA and make it great, he joined APC, and he is making a hell for us. Is he not your son? A ba.stard son who does not respect himself will be sent home to his people. Ngige is a bas.tard son of ibo. He is showing the true nature you all are. If you cannot caution him, you are all fo.olish. You are the fool cos you cannot even tame your own son. Yet, you want to be president. No unity in you. We will continue slamming you till you all get sense and unite.

You are the weak link in the south. Just look at how weak you are with Nnamdi Kanu's case. I trust the Yorubas. Look at how they handled Igboho's case. The Ijaws too will rally round their son. Of course there will be Judas, but if there is unity, you will win.

Not ibos. It is Lagos they will be flexing muscles in the markets molesting girls. You better call your son to order. Who will ever hand over Aso rock to your sons? Who?
Something is obviously wrong somewhere with you

They are asking to be paid well. Not paid at the same level as their counterparts in london.

Besides, your comment does not make a lick of sense. Pay is based on your skill and aptitude, and not on the school you went to or how much you paid in school fees.

The legislators that are collecting pay in tens of millions of naira, how much was used in training them?

Let politicians start by first banning their own children from schooling overseas.

Subsidizing tertiary education in Nigeria is not out of FG generosity, but out of necessity. Raise school fees to $2000 per term and see how the country will collapse with toxically insufficient graduates.

Such a loner.... when you fail to address the root, what do you expect. When a foundation is not solid what do you expect.

Now let me ask you this. You are given a visa to stay and work in any of the developed country, and anothe option is for you to stay in Nigeria ruled under this government without meaningful income. By the way, doctors have being leaving this country before now. So whats your headache?

That man is just short and at same time Stu.pid. Has he even asked himself Why Nigerians leave the Country? What about the unpaid salaries for months , the poorly functioning health care system and facilities. Why won’t they leave ? Is Nigeria the first country to provide free education? Same sets of bi.gots who would catch cold and travel to london or the states for treatment.
They’re asking for the bare minimum pay salaries, provide a good health care system.
Well all these ones na talk Ngige because whether you like it or Not They will still leave the country more and more in bulk for greener pastures and better lives . With time it won’t only be Doctors just keep watching. And there’s absolutely nothing you can. Do about it

That's where you're wrong. My problem with you is the unequal comparison you are subjecting Nigeria to. So you expect Nigerian students to obtain student loans like other countries. For what exactly. What are the loans justifying? Our sub par archaic educational system?, our non existent facilities?, Have you gone to our medical schools? Have you gone to teaching hospitals? So what should they be taking loans for. We already know we are in high shortage of medical personnels so Nigeria as a whole can't afford to unsubsidize medical education because then only wealthy folks would attend medical school which would further deepen the deficiency we already have. Abroad they already have systems in place that demands student loans. Functional healthcare systems an facilities, fully equipped medical colleges. These costs money so student loans are a must to see them through. Jobs with great renumeration waiting immediately they are done. Welfare packages etc. Please you and your minister should should take your biased out of touch mindset to the sewers. Face Nigeria's reality and fix our whole healthcare/ educational system because if you think that this declaration would stop the Exodus, you are jonzing.

Dude, the only reason students abroad subject themselves to student loans is the reward they intend to obtain from the qualification, despite not being able to afford the cost.

So while Nigeria cannot even grant student loans, the government would rather bond those who require free education.

If the Nigerian would stay put in Nigeria, to earn cheaply from cheap education, there would be no need for such bond.

You and Ngige are still saying the same thing, even though you think you disagree.

Scrap wetin? Abeg nothing private should be scrapped.

A private sector driven nation is the only sustainable nation. Government must wash its hands off running of business. That's why Nigerian society is this corrupt. Government does belong to anyone but private business belongs to someone, hence private businesses are always better managed

Nigerian education is not cheap! What's the minimum wage in Nigeria. What's the tuition fee for medical degrees in the average Nigerian University.

You totally ignored the fact that Nigerian medical education is light years behind what you'd find in developed worlds. And mind you medical degrees are free in many developed nations - like totally free.

Why should a Nigerian stay put in a toxic system where practicing what you've learned in school is almost impossible. Bastard, you think the problem is just salaries?
When last did you visit a teaching hospital?

The God you serve will punish you and your ilk for all you do to contribute to the pathetic state of this nation.
