How Do You Take Your Pills? (Pictures) by pocohantas(op): 9:45pm On Nov 12, 2021

I know some people can claim they aren't sick just to avoid taking drugs. Some prefer injections. Some go as far as hiding it inside eba. Some would use one packet of NutriC to push it down.

How do you take them and in what order?

Mine is 1(pill, water)

Anyone that does 4 (pill) is not human. cry

All, except 3.

I swallow it If it's 1-2 tabs/capsule. (I do this with paracetamol, Ibuprofen, and multivits). I chew my paracetamol most times too grin

If the pills are up to 5, I put it inside my mouth before using water to gulp it down.

If it's more than 5, I'll use No.2.

That is not the determinant for the rate or level of digestion.
The liver has a way of taking care of the drugs swallowed, extracts the quantity needed and eject the remaining ones.

I have some children close to me, that their mothers made them chew drugs from when they were very little, I can't but feel sorry for them. I can't even take herbal drugs or agbo, so I watch what I eat and hardly take sweet things.

This is the surest method especially for all those typhoid drugs that smell badly, with swallow you do away with the bitter taste, the unpleasant smell that comes with it and the feeling of vomiting that accompanies such drugs.

Well, I can do 5 pills at a go and then use water to push down. And I can also do pill alone. It's just that it doesn't go down smoothly, and I'll feel some discomfort for a minute.

You see injection, that is my problem! I hate pain. I mean my pain threshold is fucking low.

I have done 8 - 12 pills at a go. During secondary school days, once you're diagnosed with malaria be expecting nothing less than 8 - 10 pills at different times in a day.

Why person go take pills one by one? That one na waste of time na.

If I am taking tablets or caplets, I don't gather them in my hands, I gather them in my mouth and then drink water.

If they're not many, say 5 or 6, I will chew them and drink water. The reason I do N4 if the drugs are many is because chewing them helps your body to absorb them fast. Having all that drugs in your system at once will have serious adverse effects.

I don't like capsules because many of them have unpleasant smell. I don't swallow them with their shells, I prefer to empty their contents on my tongue and then drink water.

You are doing it wrong, some drugs are designed the way they are for a reason, inorder to get to their site of action.
Grinding some drugs might get them completely digested before they get to their site of action,best to follow ur doctors or pharmacist direction to drug use.
