It was terrible. The Ghanaians enjoyed the usual rub of the green decisions from the referee that home teams benefit from but the simulation and penalty decision is too blatant to ignore
TMKsouth:

I missed the game. If that's the case dude, then SAFA should definitely make a lot of noise about it.

But the coach will not use chuks or start him

I pray rohr should start chuks tomorrow

An ideal formation for tomorrow should be (4-2-3-1) with Ndid and Frank in front of the defense. Iwobi spare head the attacking midfield then flanked by Ejuke and Chukwueze with Osimhen upfront.
If I was Rohr.

Honestly I will never understand such sentiments. Yes you can be dissapointed with team performances but wishing they lose and you call yourself a fan? SMH

there are some people in this thread that want us to lose tomorrow and they know themselves. I wonder what they want to gain from it.

Are you really surprised? Were some supposed fans not calling our team super chickens barely 9-10 years ago? undecided

charlesemeka85:
the high rate of negativity here na the reason I go leave this thread soon

I have never seen fans turn against their own team no matter the situation like I see here

So pathetic that some wish the team not to qualify just to justify their disgusting hate on the coach and some of the players

While some wish the team doom just to have a good chance to campaign for the appointment of a local coach

A defense line of Awaziem (RB), Akpoguma (CB), Balogun (CB), Aina (LB). Both Ekong and Collins should sit tomorrow, they are not better than those two.

Dude I understand u... I'm a Ghanaian I know it's not a penalty many Ghanaians know it's not a penalty we don't want team to qualify cuz if our team can't beat Ethiopia and ur team what shows we'll do well in the world cup not even the playoffs but soft penalty happens anywhere in the world that's what I want u to understand bro.
Who said I don't understand? Such cheap penalties do not happen in Europe anymore, why must we accept mediocrity on this side?

Chief Adoikye Amiesimaka was on of those invited by the ministry of sports to be part of the so called "10 years football development plan"..

Here is his reply to the ministry grin

Our football don suffer...

CC: Thegoodjoe

As much as Chief has a point, I feel he should still turn up and put his insight. He is one of the stakeholders of Nigerian football.

Let them work on the report this time and maybe we might see action. Even though there is a big chance we won't.

I think Chief Amiesimaka should have accepted the appointment.

I think SAFA should. Not that it would change anything as far as the current qualifiers are concerned but at least let it be noted by FIFA to avoid a re-occurrence in future

Yep. It's official that SA will be laying a complaint with CAF and FIFA.

You get time to reply those inferiority complex minds.
When we have players like Osimhen, flanked by Ejuke & Chukwueze.
Then Iwobi or Iheancho behind.
CM and DM: Aribo & Ndidi.
Defense: Rugged Awaziem and Hitman Balogun?

I watch football. African referees struggle with elementary decisions compared to European ones and are easily bought because they are in the refereeing business for stomach reasons. You mostly see such decisions in Africa than in Europe. In Europe, that Ghana penalty would have been reviewed by VAR and the goal wouldn't have been awarded, it would have been a yellow card for simulation. The disallowed goal against Ghana in Johannesburg that was ruled for offside would have been awarded. The penalty that Dede Ayew scored already had two Ghana players infront. The fake corner that led to that soft penalty would have been spotted. Looks like it's you who doesn't watch football.

Yeah, I hear the penalty wasn't the only issue with the officiating last night.

My man, Ghanian players were falling over the field in simulation and most 50-50 challenges deciosns went Ghana's way. it was atrocious officiating
