I once showed it to my roommate and kept it back in my box. I guess that was my sin. I think he loved the photo compendium too and he saw where I kept it. I never saw it again and it took long for me to realize it was missing. I couldn't talk about it again. E pain me sha.

Mine was an ox blood colour st Michael bra together with my US top.I went to my friend's place off campus and her neighbor ...just beside her room admired it so much.lt was when l got back to school l discovered it has disappeared from my bag.I checked everywhere and asked her afterwards but she denied.But l knew it was the neighbour that stole it.....Sister Grace l hope you are still wearing the bra n top uptill today?Big shame on you.

A very painful experience I had in boarding school was...

I had a locker full of provisions. Not just mine... it included that of the only son of our family friend. His provisions were left with me for safekeeping or to keep bullys away. On a certain day, during sports time, my locker was broken and emptied of all the provisions. I felt so terrible and disappointed.

Well the incident that caused me the greatest pain was when the family came visiting during the holidays... The boy's mother brought up the incident (innocently I guess) and before I could give any explanation my dad got up and gave me a dirty slap. Up till now, decades after I'm still trying to figure out the reason for that slap. Did he think I ate the provisions and was telling lies? Was it to keep his reputation as Mr discipline? Oh, the pain I felt as tears rolled down my eyes.

I haven't discussed this with Dad or any of my siblings. Even in later years, after secondary school, the woman kept inviting me home so I can be a positive influence to the son etc and of course I obliged but I still haven't forgotten that incident, even though I do not hold it against any one, not even my Dad.
