People do not trust the government, that's a sad fact. With a country of over 100 million, less than 200k have downloaded the app, that tells you, the government has a lot of work to do.

oga, you have a wrong figure. Over 400,000 downloads so far. I think slightly over a million transactions. Nigeria is winning.

Half of the over 100million are illiterate, and a big chunk don't care.

Yes, and it is super fast and has not failed even for once. Good one from the CBN, still alot of room for improvement in terms of acceptance and real world use.

I downloaded the app, registered and linked with my GTB account.

Trying to find the e naira wallet is the problem cos I don't know how to make the transfer to the wallet. I will be grateful if anyone can enlighten me on how to go about it. Thanks
You'll fund it through the bank app. I know for zenith, once you open the app, you'll see how to link your app with the e-naira wallet. After linking, you can move funds from your app to the e-naira wallet and back.

Your bank's updated mobile App should have the feature for enaira transactions where you can deposit into or withdraw from your enaira wallet.

Do this:
Update your Bank's mobile App
Try making transfers and you'll most likely see the option for enaira transaction.

And for those Android OS Users looking for the CBN app to download.
Here's a link to playstore

Since e-Naira was launched by CBN a few weeks back, have anyone downloaded and used it for any transaction? If yes, can you share your experience with us so far?

Those that made the e-naira are very clueless. When I heard that cbn is creating an e-currency I thought it's going to be on a blockchain and that they're going to pair it with some major crypto so as to allow Nigerians trade cryptos easily and they'll also have the opportunity to monitor everything, but they made a digital currency with no use case. What a brilliant stupidity!
CBN made something that should have been an awesome idea and provide them the opportunity to monitor cash inflow and outflow into the crypto industry and other online biz to seem useless. Bad leadership is the worst thing that can happen to any organization!

No special benefits from it like paypal or other countries currency apps. I can't tell my enemy to relly on this currency app yet when our currency is useless in our country talk more of foreign countries. The app will be fine if rate of exchange falls to leverage point

Hackers will soon use you to achieve their Christmas traget. You didn't read the news on social media where the government absolved themselves of any loss of funds as a result of hacking the e-naira app, right?

Youre keeping it in the wallet to avoid scammers or you're keeping it for scammers to come and take Una?Una wey hackers go use do suya don dey plenty.
Gee64:
I think the e-Naira facilitates easier online transactions without necessarily giving out your card details.

Another thing, you can keep your money in this wallet to avoid the fraudulent activities of online scammers.
