So guys I’ve been wondering, chartered accountants every where, even my science guy has gone into ican and finished it already.. so I want to know how lucrative is it?

How easy is it for someone to get a job as a chartered accountant as a starter, like fresh out of school but already chartered?

Its not lucrative at all and neither is it easy.

Like everything, what you put in is what you get out if it, though accountancy is likely to put a lot into empowering you to get a lot out of it.

very lucrative. even as an accountant not chartered though am doing well. it all depends on your level of competence,intelligence and years of experience.
it will sure put food on your table even as a starter. Accountants are the Doctors of business.

Just the way they lie to you that BSC is less than msc or PhD.

Whereas whén you get the PhD you find out you have been duped.

Shine your eye, back then fslc was the highest degree, then something happened

Very lucrative if you do what the account department wants

It's lucrative and you will succeed if you know what you are doing. Since you are a CA (without experience), you will have to work for few year with little pay and when the experience comes, you start demanding whatever you worth from employers at the interview. I advise you start now with auditing/accounting firms. It will help you.

Here in the U.S, na just waste of time. Majorly done by fresh graduates. Doesn't necessarily guarantee more $$$$. There's more $$$ in Finance than Accounting.

Finance is more broad and dynamic than Accounting or Chartered Accounting.
