Ikpeazụ/PDP will still campaign on a plank in that road while the citizens will stand in the mud and be cheering him. Then they will vote in PDP again.

The problem of Abia is the people, coupled with tribalism.

Any place tribalism reigns, the politicians take full advantage of it. After witnessing the last election in Abia, I lost faith in them.

People did not vote PDP. They voted APGA but PDP rigged the election. PDP agents in connivance with INEC officers thumb-printed the original ballot papers before morning of the election. While people were voting in the morning for APGA candidate, they didn't
know the votes were cast in the night. The ballot papers they cast their votes on were just for burnfire. I cried because we that grew up in Aba wanted a real change. Anybody coming through Orji Uzo Kalu or T.A Orji to govern Abia State is already compromised. He must have been sworn to a deity or juju to protect his benefactor's interests and continue the ruination of Abia State

Most people think the civil war end in 1967.
But they are being deceived.
The war is still ongoing in different frontier.

They impose a puppet of governors on the people of South East.

They made no viable infrastructure on ground.

They militarized your states.

They kill you at any slight provocation.

They burn down your towns at any minor provocation.

They made that no matter the volume of your business that exceed a certain level in life. Even if you do that it will be of no much benefits to the South East. As innoson to share his bitter experience.

Why do you think they're doing everything possible within their power to subdue nnamdi kanu.

They don't want any opposing voices from the east. Your governors in the south east are so powerless and just a mere puppet doing the biddings of the caliphate.

There are fewer people in Abia compared to Ogun where Igbos are flocking into daily, just like Lagos.. we don't just understand you guys problem.

2. Ogun is more of a border State to West African countries from Nigeria, the gateway state, so the movement of vehicles, trucks, tankers, trailers etc. are on the high side.

Those and more will definitely put excess pressure on the infrastructure coupled with mass migration of people into the state in search of opportunities.
If you ask me, I'd say govt. at Centre should grant Lagos and Ogun states special status or betterstill allow them to keep what they generate for development and maintenance.

At least I've tried to answer your question.. can you please highlight reasons why Abia shouldn't be like Dubai with all the allocations the State gets for FG and the internal revenue and taxes of Abia people.

Sufferstication on display cheesy

You're saying rubbish I don't know about other state...but apart from Lagos and ibadan...osun has the best road in the south west and better road than all of the south eastern state... despite all this the governors is still constructing a flyover as we speak...am not a politician nor a tribalist but the roads aregbe( interior minister) constructed in osun in 8 years no south eastern state can construct it in 16 years just for the records let me not talk about schools
In the latest IGR chart released, osun state generated more IGR than the whole south eastern state...just for the record

Look at a suburb of Aba in Osisioma LGA and tell me how many suburbs of Oshogbo, Ife or Ilesha that is this built up with highrises. There is problem in maintaining densely populated area like Lagos or Southeast than places with room to play with.

Bro, the problem with Abịa is truly the people. In 2015 Abịa had a chance to speak with one voice against the bad leadership but our Ngwa brothers said no that Oke ga ezu Abịa which gave the evil men the hand to rig the election. Now here we are.

Oga, nothing about tribalism here....roads in Ogun state too are very terrible, even some places in Lagos has these types of roads, despite how rich Lagos is....yet they vote APC all the time..... instead of you to be talking about bad governance..... you're trying to make it look like a tribal thing.....as if you yorubas aren't tribalistic too.

Nonsense.
