A Thread For Tinubu’s Achievements. by alanto: 8:20am On Nov 19, 2021
Yesterday there was a thread that asked Nairalanders to discussed who would be the next Nigerian President.
My crime was mentioning Tinubu.
I’ve had over 50 mentions and still counting.
Now there’s a pattern like never seen before. I mean this is the first time I’m seeing so much people talk down Tinubu’s strides in Lagos.
Like for the first time I’m reading anywhere that Tinubu’s tenure was bad for Lagos. Got me thinking maybe I’ve been misinformed so I created this thread.
I’ve read from everyone that think Tinubu is a bad presidential candidate. But I need people that are better informed about Tinubu’s policy and projects in Lagos. Because of non Lagosian, non Nigerians and some people that were too young in between 99 to 2007 to witness BAT governance.

NB: Please this thread is for Tinubu’s achievement.
Let’s see if there will be any before anybody derail the thread.
Thank you.

Modified: I’m aware there’s already a thread discussing my comment from yesterday thread. Please leave the hate on that thread and comment here constructively.
Even if na page 20m you meet the thread I have booked space that I will post contributions.
Children of hate and perdition have arrived and they are trying to take over the front page but I have reserved space for reasonable comments, because I expect them to try and spam the thread.
Thank you.

How can someone think Tinubu is a bad candidate yet wants us to believe Peter Obi is a good candidate?

Im not even saying Peter Obi is bad but even Atiku doesn’t have Tinubu record. I don’t think there was never any Governor in Nigeria’s history that can match Tinubu’s record.
I maybe wrong that’s why I need people to tell us.
I don’t mind if MrMaestro will copy and paste from the previous threads.

Stop talking rubbish, you this afonja bigot! Tinubu laid a very bad foundation for Lagos. Considering the economy and GDP of Lagos, which is higher than many African countries including Ghana, what is on ground to justify it?!

Tinubu has placed his arthritis ridden leg on the neck of Lagosians since 1999, carting away the resources that should be used to develop the city in bullion vans!

Which mega project has Tinubu or his puppets delivered in Lagos since 1999? Any functional metro? Super highways? Trams? World class hospital? World class university or secondary schools? Non!! Even when Lagos mates like Johannesburg, Cairo, Nairobi, Adis Ababa etc already have all these!!

Ordinary basic things like roads, pipe borne water, refuse disposal, good drainage system etc have remained a mirage despite the good foundation Lagos has as a former capital.

Only private sector investments are thriving in Lagos and is even below par considering the potentials yet deluded people like you keep celebrating mediocrity.

Tinubu is a zero material for presidency!

You want to hear the truth? Tinubu is popular among politicians, but he isn't among the masses. Furthermore, the number of his political allies in his party equals his political foes. Between Tinubu and Osibanjo, 95% Nigerians will choose Osibanjo. Stop forcing him down our throats please.

But you people can lie with a straight face. Lagos is dirty, Lagos is filthy, Lagos is not well governed but it Lagos being the smallest state in Nigeria is indirectly the capital of Nigeria. Is that not why you are presently typing from Lagos and not Aba?
Lagos generate huge income that it shares among 36 states. If Lagos should win the right to keep her revenue what would happen to your own state economy? Because by then Lagos would afford rail and power supply and even 4th mainland bride but wetin your own people go chop? Ungrateful minion. Very hateful group of people. It was you people that introduced canceling of others comment to make your own. Very selfish way to think.

Still talking rubbish and giving unreasonable excuses. Does Lagos share its IGR with other states too? Is Lagos not getting allocations from oil revenue even when it does not produce oil? Is Lagos not enjoying oil MNC tax even when their operations are in Niger Delta? So whatever you think Lagos gives out, it gets in return from other places in Nigeria!!

I once lived in Lagos years back and couldn't stand the hobbesian nature of life there and I moved out.

That's how you guys keep decieving yourselves, Lagos should never use other states in Nigeria to benchmark itself because that's stupidity. Lagos should be benchmarking itself against its mates like Johannesburg, Nairobi, Cairo etc and those cities are advancing fast while Lagos keeps comparing itself with other states in Nigeria and be bragging with mediocrity.

I'm really ashamed of you all supporting a character like Tinubu to rule Nigeria, it shows how messed up your mindset is.

The people fronting Osinbanjo are your people. The PDP vagabonds. Y’all want to push Osinbanjo narrative so APC can give him the ticket then you will push out Atiku. We all know Osinbanjo can’t match Atiku and Atiku can’t match Tinubu but this is democracy. Don’t worry Atiku will contest against Tinubu and just like 2015 and 2019 PDP will lose. There’s no bad publicity. The more you try to rubbish BAT the more you make him popular.
Reminds of 1999 when he had more enemies than now. Alaroye and other newspaper outlet were dishing information that Tinubu didn’t have a certificate. I remember how alaroye used to make jest of him saying “Mo lo si ilewe Toronto” but he won the election regardless. No be today.

Tinubu is a zero material for presidency!
Bad foundation. Increasing the IGR of a state from 600 million to billions ?
Scouting and developing human capital like Fashola, Osinbajo, gbajabiamila etc?
Creating and implementing the greater Lagos infrastructure plan from as far back as 1999.
If it is easy to attract private sector investments, how come peter obi did not do it for Anambra.
I wish I had time to respond to the complete trash and your many idiotic assertions.
If Tinubu is zero material for presidency, please tell us your good material and why.
Please don't call Atiku. And definitely not that useless corrupt peter Peter Obi.

All members of Lagos State house of Assembly are TouTs. The worst speaker in SW is Mudashiru Obasa a confirmed Thug. The late Senator Osinowo cannot make a complete sentence in good English but he was a senator courtesy Tinubu. The Oluremi Thug is there. Touts everywhere on the street of Lagos. Sending out thugs to destroy votes in PDP strongholds during Atiku buhari elections. Osun Formula, replicated in Kano, Bullion Van ... I can go on and on. Tinubu is the worst thing that has happened to this country in modern history because without Tinubu we could not have had Buhari.

Moving from Lagos to Owerri is one of the best decisions I ever took! I oversee my businesses here while still earning forex in the most convenient way that Lagos would never have allowed me.

Waking up by 4am and leaving my house before day break only to return at midnight everyday is not a nice way to live life. Lagos has rendered so many useless because in struggling to overcome daily challenges caused by Tinubu they won't know when years will roll by with nothing to show for it.

All my immediate family members are either in America or here in the East. I only have one sister in Lagos and she is currently processing her travel to the UK.

Did I tell you that Lagos economy is not huge? But many people who can avoid Lagos without it affecting their income will gladly do so!! Why? Because there is too much suffering there.

Bro Nairaland opinion don't matter especially in Nigeria politics or have you see any politician or a political analyst talking about Nairaland? You see those bodoh guys talking down Tinubu here doesn't matter because majority of them don't even have voters card not to talk on belonging to a political party.

Meanwhile those guys talking down Tinubu especially Igbos miscreants doing so out of hatred for Yoruba people you know they always envy people. They will say southwest voted against Jonathan we betrayed south the same southwest made Jonathan president even when he was caged then no tribe speak against it but Yoruba take to the streets and protest against that.

Jonathan won election and he disregarded all Yoruba efforts he appointed igbo to juice positions and the same igbo people he appointed brainwashed him he continue to sideline Yoruba people disrespecting us while igbo benefiting massively from his administration they went to the extent that the man forget where he came from igbo enjoyed Jonathan administration than his siblings.Dont forget that igbo destroyed Jonathan administration and bring the man down politically.
