The true value of having a vehicle breakdown service........

Had RAC for over 6 month's now, never used it. Drove to Nando's yesterday with the family, enjoyed our meals (even bought takeaway)....... grin

Got back to my gas guzzler, vehicle just refused to start (no issues prior whatsoever).…... Luckily I had jumpstart leads in my trunk, got someone to jumpstart us....... Drove home and parked vehicle.....

Called RAC this morning, the chap tested the battery and said it was bad ........ Luckily for me, my cover had free battery replacement......

RAC chap drove away with my faulty battery, 30 minutes later, returned with a brand new Varta battery (at a cost of £145.99)...... But free to me ...... grin cheesy
Please sir what is trunk tongue Hope it's not what I am thinking shocked

Every knowledge gathered in IT is very relevant in its compliance, security and audit; for example, I see some people look down on IT Support role, the knowledge gathered in that role can be useful when reviewing Network Access Control (NAC). Your knowledge in IAM stated above will be useful in the information security departments of some companies.

LinkedIn is a good place to search these consulting firms, try to set-up job notifications on LinkedIn, you'll see their openings whenever they are available.
If you are in the U.K, try Indeed, Total jobs, CWjobs, CV Library and so on, recruiters will reach out to you.

For those who want to get into cybersecurity without experience, the article in the link below will be helpful.....

you try sha but crypto would have given you more profit than this within that one week….. just trading bnb alone daily with £1000 will give you £100 within two or more days if you know how to buy! The only I can vouch for is BNB I too trust the coin! Crypto is going BSC way now!

My Uni expects me to have it for 3 months (January ending - April) however we can extend it further if we so wish till September. The only thing is that the Uni won't recognize the extension. So officially, 3 months unofficially, 6-8 months.

Does this apply for all schools? My partner is currently enrolled in Chester MSc cybersecurity too. October intake

I agree. In my opinion, BNB is good for trading but discipline is also important.

Hi all,
I recently got an NHS HCA job. On the job ad. It was stated that those who need tier 2 sponsorship can apply and will be considered. During to document checks, I submitted my BRP wish was a student one and has 20hrs work permit. The HR team called me and raised the concern I then told her that I will need COS to be able to switch visa and work full time. She asked what visa i would need and i told her health and care workers visa. She wrote it down and said ok.. when they finally sent my Unconditional offer letter, the COS wasn't included then I sent a mail back saying I didn't get the COS and kindly requested for it. They replied back saying because the post doesn't meet the salary threshold, they wont be able to issue COS. I sent a mail back quoting the job ad that says this post is open to those who also require sponsorship. And they said unfortunately there's nothing they can do. Pls guys is this really ok or they are trying to play a fast one?

What was the salary of the job you applied for?

Sometimes, HR will use old format of another job to advertise another job... grin

Side hustle for those in IT. There are also vacancies in Health & Social Care, Applied Science and Criminology. It's for developing assessments for iGCSEs.

If you work in the sector, you can also mark the exams twice a year (each script is paid at £3.89) and a £50 admin fee per 20 scripts. I marked 600 scripts over 6 weeks in June - very good side change as I just mark as and when I want to - mainly in the evenings and weekends and all on my PC.

Not sure where the issue of "playing a fast one" comes up.

Firstly, employers do not owe employees without UK citizenship/settled status a COS.

Secondly, the rules are the rules and they state that there is a minimum salary threshold to be met before an employer can issue a COS. Check to see if your proposed salary exceeds that minimum. And there are many people who are earning above the minimum salary for sponsorship but are not being sponsored - part of the job of HR departments is to routinely notify such people in advance of their current visas' expiration that they are required to provide HR with proof of another valid visa.

Lastly, if they are not offering you sponsorship, you either accept that and take the job or move on.

Like I said, I told the Head of recuitment when we had the conversation earlier and she said "that's fine".. Also, their shifts are 12 hours (it doesn't fit my work permit) in a day, there's no way I wouldbe able to work there with my 20hrs limit in the first place. They know this because I clearly stated it in my application. So why shortlist for interview in the first place if you cant sponsor for me to work. I cant even work there because the employment is for full time. Are they not confused like this?

Sorry about this, but not much can be done if they don’t want to sponsor again. Looks like you have to continue searching. All the best.

I understand how you feel…. Unfortunately chances are the lady who took the call isn’t properly informed about COS /visa limitations and requirements.

Going forward i would Suggest in order to verify your suitability for a job, always check with what is stated on the gov.uk website and not on the job site.

All d best dear
