This is all the oil communities get from their resources that is used to build Abuja and Lagos!
Who do you blame the Yoruba's or the Fulani's or the docile South-South that allow their land to be exploited and destroyed by outsiders?

In the last 20 years, the minister for petroleum or minister of state has been from the South-South.

Igbos that are Nembe slaves? Nembe is not Igbo but Igbos' slave master.
iruocious:
Stop spreading falsehood. You see those war canoes on display, in the olden days, they were normally filled to the brim with slaves (mostly ibos) for one to earn a chieftaincy title.

Everywhere na una get am. Claim relationship.
So the slaves later took over control of things, changed the language to Igbo and forced their traditional hat on you today. You see your life. Nembe kwenu! cheesy

Most Niger Delta indignees do not know the consequences of hydrocarbon pollution on the environment.14days pollution might take several years to curb. By the time the world is done with crude oil ,Niger Delta will still be battling with the consequences of pollution.
......Added to coastal erosion and rising sea levels!

Their problems are legion! undecided

NIgeria is a failed nation

Expect the unexpected
Inferiority complex as usual. Poverty and low self-esteem are factors responsible for this kind of thinking that others are better than you all the time.

On your account of how to know failed nation, USA must be the worst of failed nations in the world since oil spillage took several months for it to be capped and more than 10 years after the spill, restoration of the environment is yet to be concluded.

The pumping through the pipeline had been switched off but yet to be sealed. Such risks exist in oil exploration, drilling and production.
Here's a spillage for several months in the Gulf of Mexico in a rig owned by BP.
https://www.google.com/amp/s/api.nationalgeographic.com/distribution/public/amp/science/article/bp-oil-spill-still-dont-know-effects-decade-later

As I type here, the conditions that caused the 2010 gulf of Mexico oil spill still remain.

I don't have to shut up. I don't suffer from halitosis like you.

The Nembe people didn't lose their language to the slaves like Opobo and Bonny did. They kept on speaking their language, till date. In fact, the strangers speak their language.

Try dey travel oh. They didn't take over and I bet it's still painful for those that sold the slaves out in the first place. The plan failed and they have no choice than to try and force a relationship. No relationship. DNA isn't even needed.

Are you serious, right now. Can't you hear yourself. If she said she's from Bayelsa and Ijaw, you'll keep short. Now she's identifying with her ancestry, and you call her a born slave.

Bigotry to the highest order. Why do you Ijaws fight so hard to acculturalize people who don't want to be Ijaws. Is it by force?

I said possibly. You're the one saying whatever you're saying. I didn't say anything of that sort. Munu te sou. Ba eriya.
I don't think the Ibos can understand my last statement.

Read your comment again, and check it out yourself. It's filled with bigotry and envy. I don't know why you envy the Igbos because the culture spilled to other so-called regions and you Ijaws can't stand it. It doesn't make sense.

How IDIOTIC! One whose house is on fire is busy chasing after rodents. Your environment including your livelihood is being constantly decimated and degraded, yet you don't seem perturbed. Your ONLY concern is to hurl insults at Igbos. Shame on you. Your obsession with the Igbos would be your downfall. Like it or NOT, you and your folks are the ones to suffer the consequences of your idiocy.

No, Ijos were Igbo subjects and they came to worship the Aros... if not for the Aro Igbos, Ijos would be extinct today.

Read this excerpt from 1900. Your fathers were drinking ogogoro worshiping Aro priests so they won't go extinct.

Now, thank us for saving your souls.

The Ibo slaves weren't as influential as their sellers thought. Even their children won't be happy to associate with the sellers after selling off their forefathers for paltry sums.
The Nembe people do not speak Ibo or Igbo or whatever confused name you choose, and the entire world knows, not just you. The dialect is simply referred to as Nembe.
Yeri ama ongu sun eki nimi tin. Please interpret the above in Igbo as you have said.
