Restaurant would have been better if staf don't steal shortage on you and if you manage it closely.

As for bolt, fast and pray you don't meet girls willing to pay in kind and skull miners.

To run a successful restaurant, you must reduce all other aspects of life to zero; no more clubbing, sporting, even sleeping will have to be sacrificed
Tell me any business that doesn't require any of these?

If you will get a very good location with less competitors, I'd say go for the restaurant.

The current situation of the country has made uber/bolt less lucrative and car hijack, accidents are other things you should consider before venturing into the uber/bolt business but Good luck with whichever you take sha.
Aptly submitted.

Man must survive, it's a cold world out there.

Find someone who is doing a business and making sales offline. You’ll find many of them in Onitsha, Computer village, Aba, Alaba, Aspamda, Idumota, etc.

Most of these people have no idea what goes on online. They also do not care what goes on online.

All they care about is making sales and getting money flowing into the business daily.

Be their online person.

Bring their business online, and advertise to those who want what they sell.

You will make money doing this.

You’ll make a lot of money doing this.

As a woman, you can open an online shop for that woman selling lace in Aba, and add money on top onto for yourself. That’s your own profit on every sale.

As a guy, you can open an online store store for that man selling computers at Computer village.

Read information from Google and publish content about computers and what people should look out for before buying a laptop.

More people would begin to reach out to you when need laptops.

Reach out to that guy who makes shoes and footwear in your neighborhood and be their online guy.

Promote what they make online and add your own profit.

Look around you, look where others are neglecting, you’ll find a gem.

You can’t afford to be idle for long.
You can’t afford to stay broke.
You can’t afford to continue earning 100k salary every month.

You don’t need to be a genius to make money online, and have a better life.

Look for a business that is offline, bring it online and get them SALES.

You will make a lot of money.

Not just money...

You will build your confidence.
Your influence will grow, and...
You’ll attract more opportunities to yourself.

You need to start operating smartly.

Look for a business that is offline, bring it online and get them SALES.

Thank me later when you hit your first M.
Nice input.

This amount is deducted from your accrued commission, and, or added to your commission. Whichever way, you get the money from your next rides.
Re: The Pros And Cons Of being an Uber or Bolt driver by ayandee: 3:02pm On Nov 21, 2021
very true. I made decent money buying books from importers and selling online till i ventured into some other businesses. Link up with an industry where the dealers are not interested in online business. Be the online link. Post their products online even without buying. When there's an order, you go buy from them and deliver. Very low capital entry. You don't need much money to start.

Let's look at a business model which allows the Chairman and directors huge profits , Whilst customers or riders get to ride in quality cars at a price significantly cheaper than most of the market.

Who must me be losing out? The drivers are the ones take all the financial risks and operational risks and shoulder the losses that make the low fares possible.

Until drivers can control their own fares, they are just slave workers who have invested in a business where they take all the financial risks with no prospect of ever making any return on their investment.

Restaurant or any other business would be a better investment.

WHY NURTURING FEAR
FEAR WILL NOT ALLOW YOU DO TO ANYTHING OR EVEN REACH YOUR GOALS. IF YOU WANT TO DRIVE UBER PLEASE GO FOR IT . EVERY ONE EXPERIENCE IS DIFFERENT BECAUSE WHERE OTHERS FAIL YOU MIGHT SUCCEED.

FEAR WILL MAKE YOU ASK SO MANY QUESTION WHILE MISSING THE REAL THING.

WILL YOU RATHER HAVE AN ASSET TO WORK WITH OR A CAPITALIST BUSINESS WITH NO CERTAINTY.

YOUR FOOD SWEET BUT THE PRICE IS HIGH OR NO GOOD TURN OVER BUT WITH CAB EVEN YOUR ENEMY WILL RIDE.

Restaurant business can be very stressful. Uber, however, has risks which includes accidents, carjacking, kidnapping and robbery. Ask ur friend his own experience so far.

Good luck.

If you're in Lagos, do no, I repeat, do not go for Bolt. Just go for your restaurant business. Find a good busy location and set up there. Especially close to a bus stop or commercial area.

Work from 10am to 10pm, you're good.

But for Bolt/Uber, I won't advise anybody to go into that business if the person is based in Lagos state
Why?

Bolt...... starting a restaurant is not easy and you can sell the car if you want to change business
