Things will get to a point that Nigerians in Nigeria and those who will foolishly visit Nigeria from abroad will all get a taste of this banditry if something is not done fast to curb this menace. What a country! |

Stop referring to terrorists as bandits. By calling them bandits, the Nigerian government and the media are deliberately aiding and abating acts of terrorism by the terrorists they call bandits. The FGN and the sycophantic media business establishments in Nigeria will still refer to Isis and Al-Qaeda as bandits if they're operating in Nigeria. |

The chickens have really come home to roost in the North. A price they are paying for accommodating these miscreants over a long duration of time. |

If you want to assassinate in the north use bandits, in the west use herdsmen and in the east use ungun known men or unmen gun known. 3 Likes |

esnbrutality: This is why anyone would look at some Nigerian youths and call them lazy. What is difficult in researching to understand those two words? Or do you think that the word bandit means 'saint' while terrorist means 'sinner'? There isn't any significant difference between the two words order than 'political aim'. Can you now see the difference between the bandits and IPOB? The bandits have no clearcut political aim. The whole world knows that IPOB has a political agenda way before they started engaging in violent intimidations etc. |

esnbrutality: You could have done better expressing your views without throwing tantrums. The post is about killing of a man and kidnapping of many others. Your comment did not show any empathy rather you indirectly gloating over their conditions. Even though you may have your grievances, your tribal bigotry could not let you express it properly. |

The Abuja to Kaduna Highway used to be one of Nigeria's Seven Wonders. Stretching arrow-straight as far as the eye could see across the vast arid scrubland plains of the nation's near north, the flawless road surface ran for mile upon mile, hour upon hour, smooth as a silken laser beam. The Abuja to Kaduna Highway used to be the playground of Nigeria's northern moneyed playboys wheeling Germany's most formidable automotive designs, where high-performance sports sedans of refined pedigree would blow past mere morals in their mundane saloons, like so many shimmering mirages on the desert highway to Las Vegas. Those halcyon days of cruising the majestic and unblemished Abuja to Kaduna Highway are now but nostalgic and wistful memories harking back to a bygone golden era blessed with a deceptive peace that promised to be as dependable and durable as the stars in the African sky. Today in November 2021, the Abuja to Kaduna highway has rightly become known as Nigeria's Highway to Hell, where heavily armed gangs of battle-hardened fundamentalist terrorists predate on travelers like stalking lion prides methodically picking off and devouring errant gazelles or wildebeest amid the region's seasonal migrations traversing The Serengeti Plains of Kenya. The Abuja to Kaduna Highway has become, in just a few short years, a top contender for Nigeria's most treacherous travel corridor. Traverse that highway at your own mortal peril, oh voyager of the land, for Lucifer himself presides there with absolute impunity, cackling maniacally as he gleefully orchestrates the mass abductions, whimsical executions, and sadistic tortures that befall the doomed whose life journeys all too often terminate with irrevocable finality somewhere out there, along the Abuja/Kaduna Highway to Hell. 2 Likes |
