Please what's the fastest I can renew my passport in Nigeria. They're all saying 3 weeks but I desperately need it before then |

You can go with a photocopy of your passport, just inform them that your passport is with the U.K. embassy (show them evidence). send IOM or QLife an email concerning this before going for the medicals. All the best Jxool: |

coopfortune:No hope for me for transfer o VAC this week if you applied on Sep 27 because I did biometrics on Oct 13. Standard. Travel date is this week Sunday. |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by dzee1: 1:20pm On Nov 23, 2021 |
Good day House, When I did my biometrics I opted that the passport be sent to me via DHL cos I work remotely and wouldn't be available to pickup. If I request for it to be returned before it's actually done by them, will it still be sent via courier? Also, can I make the request to withdraw the passport via mail as I'm not physically available to go to the office. And how long from request day till the return day? I did biometrics in abuja on 28th October and I have a trip to the US to make on the 7th of Dec so I need my passport latest 1st or 2nd Dec. Thanks |

ibaka:Update. The young man left Epe this morning and has collected in person and visa was granted with 17th Nov as effective date meaning since September decision was made just last week. For the courier paid for it is obvious they do no t process post biometrics courier request immediately, so it's still best to get it your self if you are on a deadlines He will pursue a refund. Also my nephew mentioned that a man there his son who is a minor the passport did not come with the parents own. Another family only the woman and the kids came so it's obvious they separate files. |

After 38 days of waiting I got a refusal email this morning that I spend 4,1350,000 for the period of 6 month so I quickly calculate the debit transaction and it was not up to that amount so when I checked my SOA I discovered the amount is total debit transaction since 11 years which I opened the account .Please help me what should I do now

Wow. I'm currently on this issue too, well, I could pay another 42k, but have you been able to initiate the process of your refund to be sure you'd get your money back? Or the money is gone? Also, was it after you paid you were then able to upload your documents? 1stdami: |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by 1stdami(m): 4:15pm On Nov 23, 2021 |
ENEMIESENEMY:I just paid another 50k tbh, I have sent a mail to TLS customer service and my bank to see how to get my money back. Yes, you need to pay before you can upload the docs. |

UPDATE My sister got her 6months visa. Application date-20th October 2021 Got to DMC on 25th October 2021 Received email to pick up on 22nd of November 2021. She’s self employed,33years old and unmarried. Paid herself only 3months salary as she had to stop during Covid because her business got a bit difficult. CAC was inactive. I want to thank everyone here even if I was advised not to go ahead with the application but with God, everything is possible. Just be truthful and provide the necessary documents that can aid your application. There’s no one straight road to applying when you’re self employed,be honest and prayerful.thank you! |

Bobore12:First of first what bank are you using? I believe if your bank is uba all the deatials of credited, debited, Opening balance would be written at the first page of the statement of account. Secondly check your 6 month transaction on the statement of account you printed, is your debit transaction for this duration is accurately with what the Eco stated ? Because no bank can added 11 years debited account into your 6 month statement of account you printed. Check first and do your home work, calculated all your debited for the duration of 6 month bank statement you printed |
| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by esdajo: 5:08pm On Nov 23, 2021 |
I think you may have to reapply right back and point out the error of the ECO that handled the application. I would suggest you write out all the debits for that 6 months period and sum it together and state clearly that it is x amount of money by your calculations and that you don’t understand how the eco arrived at that bogus figure. This should be in your cover letter which should be detailed enough to capture everything. Of course you have to add your current statement for the last 6 months, however, you MUST as a matter of necessity include a copy of the old one that was wrongly calculated so as to point out the error. Use the same document you used before but make sure you include the current bank statement as well. My own opinion. Bobore12: |

| Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 4 by Ogidigan1: 7:01pm On Nov 23, 2021 |
First of all, I'm so sorry about your refusal; but how many months bank statement did you print out? The truth is, if you print out a 6-month bank statement from any Nigerian bank, it will only display: "Total debit transactions within the chosen 6-month period" , "Total credit transactions within the chosen 6-month period", "Opening balance as at the first day of the chosen 6-month period" and "Closing balance as at the last day of the chosen 6-month period" There's no way the system can generate an 11-year debit transaction if you request for a 6-month bank statement. However, If you can hide your name and other sensitive personal details, pls post the front page of your acct statement so we can really see what went wrong. Secondly, you stated that you would spend about NGN700k during your trip. I think that amount would not take care of your flight ticket, hotel accommodation and feeding for 17days, considering the current cost of purchasing flight tickets. My humble opinion, subject to correction by the gurus. Bobore12: |
