Kazakhstan Completes 4-Year Trial of Barys 8×8 Combat Vehicle

Dubbed the Barys, the military vehicle showed off its capabilities in the mountainous terrain of Southern Kazakhstan. It traveled a total distance of 25,000 kilometers (15,534 miles), ending in Mangistau, near the Caspian Sea.

The Barys displayed its ability to operate amid adverse weather conditions, withstanding temperatures between 45 and -60 degrees Celsius during summer and winter trials.

What a provocative, saviour mentality, racist headline.

This is how Western countries now refer to Mali.

Egypt the best ever in Africa.

The best equipped military in Africa by a mile, but I rate the Algerians above them as the Algerian military looks more sustainable.

The Egyptian military looks very susceptible to sanctions.

Seeing this, there are still some who would want to see the US military in the NE.
Everywhere the westerners go, they further complicate the situation..
Their politicians wants to open another front where the little war equipments manufacturing companies can continues to feed on,

Ethiopian prime minister Abiy Ahmed at the war front.
The Ethiopian army is in possession of at lest 6 Bayraktar TB2 combat drones..
Recent weeks have seen Tdf /Tplf suffer heavy losses and loose strategic towns they had captured.

We also have a similar saying here - until the lions have their own historians, the story of the hunt will always glorify the hunter.

The TB2 would soon become an iconic symbol like the AK-47.

Two things we learned this week, Nigeria is not negotiating for additional JF-17 thunders, and Nigerian Air Force Top brass is still obsessed with American equipment.

Why would Nigeria want to spend $800 million on x 12 AH-1Z helicopters from the US?

In my opinion it is an unnecessary waste of money.

Although American military equipment is top of the line, for a country like Nigeria depending so much on American military equipment is almost as good as not having military aircraft all together.

This is just a bad, bad decision.

There is nothing to prove the bolded because US have nothing to do with it. Besides, AH can't replace a fighter jets and we haven't heard of any other fighter jets with similar roles/capabilities that the air force is interested in.

One of the many companies present at the Dubai Air Show is Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (or PAC), which has a stand where they displayed, among several products, a model of the JF-17 Thunder, so for us it was a «must» stop.

PAC’s sales and marketing director, Commodore Moazzam Piracha agreed to answer some questions for Aviacionline about the prospects of their fighter in Argentina.

As a last detail revealed, PAC informed that there are currently no ongoing negotiations with Nigeria for the acquisition of more Thunder fighters, in addition to the 3 units already contracted. PAC hopes and expects that this situation will change at some point, while waiting for some sign of interest from the Nigerian government.

Understandable, but I think there is diversification of weapons by the Egyptians recently, they are no longer relying heavily on American weapons, although still depends on American military aids but I understand your point.
I rate the Algerian military too.

I think NAF is waiting for the production of the JF-17 thunder block 3, that comes with AESA radar, and other stuff, and place an order for reasonable numbers, I don't think the NAF has eyes on other Jet fighters, America will never sell the F-16s to Nigeria, and I don't think we need it, because American equipments comes with strings attached.
Or maybe NAF is considering the Chinese J-10, but will China agree to export them?

Even their European equipment rely heavily on American parts.

Look at Mali, they ordered an Airbus C-295 transport plane, yet the aircraft couldn't be delivered to Mali because of American sanctions.

I think NAF is more interested in replacing the Alpha Jet than procuring a Frontline jet.

The JF-17 is Chinese and shares quite a number of similarities with the J-10. I don't see NAF buying the JF-17 and J-10 at the same time.

NAF would be eyeing the JF-17 block 3, but the service considers an AH and replacing the Alpha Jets as more pressing priorities.

I don't think we would see additional JF-17 block 2 orders if NAF actually buys the M-346FA.
