Have done all this I even went to VAC but they said my passport is not yet back. I hope something comes up anytime from now because my application is 32days now

Debbieeeeeee:

I hope your passport comes through before the 30 days given by the Canadian embassy runs out.

I’m actually in your situation but I’ve not gotten ppr from Canada yet hence my chilled disposition and I hope ppr comes when my passport comes from this my Uk people because how I go do am?

I think you should contact the visa office that worked on your Canada TRV and try to seek an extension. Explain your situation to them .
Another thing is -
Send a email to the Uk people , call them , email the visa offices directly. I can avail you the email I used to send additional documentation to New Delhi. Just explore every option listed!

You can’t cancel your application now because the procedure takes15 working days which will be counterproductive to this cause.
Finally let’s hope it comes out tomorrow.

I just collected my Covid vaccination card somewhere in Ogun state. Upon getting home, I had an overwhelming premonition to verify the barcode using a QR code now so I won't get stranded whenever I eventually put it to use.
Unfortunately, I discovered upon accessing the portal that my date of birth was incorrect. Asides that, my name was entered halfway. Again, I also realized that the portal only reflected the data of my first dose vaccination. That of the second has not been entered. I therefore will like to seek professional advise on what to do. Thanks in advance.

Have same issue. If you go back there explain and give the right details they will fix it for you.

Good day people.
Pls I got this mail this evening.
Is this a default response to anyone that contacts the paid enquiry center?
Or those this actually mean there has been progress in my case?
And if so, how long from this point should one look out for?

There’s an option where you can change your basic information yourself when using your QR code to generate your data

Well said. From the information he submitted , he had savings of N2.5m only from a monthly income of N500k and a with a disposable income of N400k, going by this , He’s expected to have more than N2.5m savings (it could be inform of investments or assets) , for instance if he has been earning N500k for a year.

Hi,

I'm so sorry about your refusal. I must confess, this is almost a perfect application, but you know, you can't predict these ECOs.

I can see you saved 400k monthly; You saved 2.4m in 6months. Since your closing balance is 2.5m, It means you only had 100k balance before you suddenly started saving 400k monthly.

My candid advise: Continue to save 400k monthly, reapply in May 2022. I think the ECO needs to see sufficient balance. Don't be in a hurry, pls.

I wish you all the best this time around.

I disagree with you

Uk won’t reject you if you have been given UK visa in the past and you didn’t violate any Uk rules plus you came back at the right time for the previous visa issued .

There is a particular waiver for people issued visa in the past who never violated any Uk rule

Please correct me if I’m wrong. From the looks of things, if your visa is refused, you will first get an email explaining the reasons for your refusal (based on the refusal letters posted here. They all said they got an email before getting passport collection mail).
BUT if you don’t get a refusal mail before passport collection email, it’s most likely that you were granted a visa.
Am I correct to assume this?

What if your bank account is empty? Will the ECO approve your visa because you didn't violate any UK rules during your previous visit?

Bros,

Approval depends mainly on your CURRENT personal and financial circumstances.

You are wrong. It is based on your current circumstances. I know someone that was refused even after getting approval a couple of times. Chances of getting it is high, but it’s not a sure thing.

This is FALSE. i personally know someone with 3 uk visas that has chopped 2 back to back refusals afterwards. There is nothing like a waiver!
First denial- eco felt it was money lodgement
2nd denial- eco felt they did not sufficiently prove they were still in employment.
you have to prove current circumstances at every given time are suitable to be given a visa.
There is absolutely nothing like a waiver

Yeah that's the amount to change it. Plus you will be asked to submit some documents to verify the data you want to correct. BVN, NIN, birth certificate, jamb results...basically anything that carries the year you want to change to. It takes a week or two to be ready
not true. Change of data in passport is the highest scam in nigerian immigration. The real cost is 33k admin charges, once approved then 26k for new passport. Total is 56k. Anything extra is going into the hands of the thief you are giving the job to

Reading all these threads and I’m getting worried. Please submitted application already but my history is : I have had 6 months, 2 yrs and 5 years Uk visa and the last was in 2013 and expired in 2018. I have a valid US visa, however I earn 604k monthly and I filled 200k as expenses monthly, I also filled I plan to spend £1500( ticket, 1 week hotel reservations and shopping included) my bank balance is N1.2m and $5k. Please should I withdraw the application considering the rule of disposable monthly income? Please help before it’s too late

Sometimes people need to understand that Uk visa application over look finance when they can see clearly that you are well travelled and you have been given Uk visa before plus you come back at the right time and never overstayed .

Why do you think questions like how many times you have been to Uk in the last 10 years and how many days did you stay in the uk is on the application form ? Or even questions about your past travel ?

Don’t you know UK officials know about the tricky Nigeria play on them anytime they want to travel ( some people start paying themselves consistent salaries that make it look like they are financial capable and they won’t do even make it look like cash lodgement etc)
There is no tricky you want to play on them that they don’t know about .
Why do you think USA embassy don’t even want to see your financial document/ statement anytime you go for USA interview ?

I have been following this thread and I see a lot of wrong information and perception flying around here all time

Yes I got my last Uk visa with 1000 naira as my balance so calm down and stop misleading people with your thought process on how visa is issued here
Your financial stability only contributes to 25 percent of it and they have a clear rubrics judging model to judge all visa candidate and there is a particular percentage you must pass before your visa can be issued
