Matic is the slowest player in the Utd squad, yet he played 90 minutes and coped with the speed of the game, but Ronaldo that is almost the fastest in our squad will not cope in games like this.

It is not every game you get service. No one was going to get service today. What was needed today was that everyone covers lots of ground. Carry the ball and run some ground forward. So Ronaldo was not needed. We were never going to open Chelsea up with a build-up play when we have no coach.

It think McTomiay is unjustly criticized here. I saw many times that if not he raced back, we would have been dealt with severely from the left back. Just showing up prevented Chelsea from smooth build up in some instances. In a particular instance, he must have had the speed of Usain Bolt to have been able to return so fast to shield the left back
