Bayern Munich striker, Robert Lewandowski, was “cheated” after “only” finishing second in this year’s Ballon d’Or award, according to Bild, Newspremises reports.

The German newspaper labelled the final results as a “scandal”.

Messi, who joined Paris Saint-Germain on a free transfer from Barcelona during the summer, collected 613 points, to win a record-extending seventh Ballon d’Or on Monday.

The Argentina captain has now added to his 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2015 and 2019 trophies, after winning the Copa America for the first time with his country in July.

Lewandowski, who went home with the Best Striker prize, was runner-up with 580 points.

Jorginho ended up third with 460, ahead of France’s Karim Benzema and N’Golo Kante in fourth and fifth places respectively.

But isn't there a laid-down transparent procedure for selecting winner of the Ballon d'Or. So why all the fuss? Abi procedures were not followed?
Just like FIFA ranking, if you ask 10 different people they may come up with ten different rankings but then FIFA has its laid down procedures in which they try to be as objective as possible.

If I were the organiser, if Lewandowski won't be winning this year award, his award should also have been caved for him and be presented to him this year, along with messi.....

That guy deserve this award, this people are fraud, even messi himself knows he doesn't deserve the award at all, that was why he said he should presented with his award to have it at home too
