Jackson is good but Denzel is just too good. The only edge Jackson has got over Denzel is playing comedic roles.

Your argument is both a Yes and No. There are so many actors who have been denied Oscars for their strong performances. Particularly, African Americans. Denzel's case is also similar to that of DiCaprio. He has also been denied many Oscars for many strong performances. Yet you cannot deny the fact that he is head and above in his acting career. The Oscar is the cherry to the cake. Both actors have paid their dues. Most of the preferences given by people about who the better actor is influenced by personal preferences.

BTW the reason Jackson has higher box office returns is due to the fact he's been in franchise movies like the Marvel movies which helps to inflate those numbers.
He was part of an assemble cast & he wasn't the main reason those movies sold out ..

Denzel doesn't do franchises & sequels,he's said so.
Infact the only sequel he's ever done was Equalizer 2..
Denzel for me as an actor is in another league compared to Sam and that's no disrespect on Jackson..

Just look at Edge of Tomorrow as a movie. Tom Cruise's character had never seen combat- he failed many times before coming to be the super soldier.

Captain America had to take drugs to be who he is.
Killmonger was an elite soldier.
Captain Marvel had military training on earth and in space.

I wasn't really expecting anything gud from the movie since is an Asian stuff but then It blew my mind.

Epic fight scenes. The bus fight and the fight between father and son was legendary.

Beautiful kids featured, I love asian and indian kids naturally, wish I could adopt one.

I was halfway through the movie today but you have effectively ruined the movie for me because now I know that the climactic fight will be between father and son, but here I was thinking the father will somehow go back to his senses.
