Every tribe fights for favour and seeks what they deserve....

So why the hatred from ibos for other tribes .
Yorubas voted a party that made their children VP and HOR speaker but that made ibos hate yorubas whereas while ibos were voting PDP and they were getting favours for their tribesmen...the yorubas were not hating them but strategizing oh how to get central power.

Its only ibos that want to fight for their tribes but will hate you for fighting for your tribe

I’m so proud being a Benin woman

Oduduwa is a Benin son and yoruba will always be from ancient Benin kingdom

Only the obaship is linked to benin, not the whole of lagos ,its eko,eko is lgos island.

Are you daft?
Can't you see the map is 1600 before all these crap you're typing happened & it says Lagos belongs to Benin.

Who cares what happened afterwards?[/quot

What does biafra mean in ibo language

Its a Portuguese word

Its a Portuguese word

Yet the comment i replied was denigrating a tribe for holding on to a name given to it by its colonial masters.....isnt that ironic?
The people that calls others slaves for not agreeing with their point of view in this 21st century are still clinging to a portugese name. One would have thought that since it a movement of indigenous people the leaders will be wise enough to know that the first thing to do is to do away with colonial name.....instead they will insult everyother tribes and call them hauasa fulani slaves while they themselves remained enslaved in body, spirit and name to their colonial masters.....what an irony

Today is not Biafran day, Biafra is not the name of an ethnicity, but the name of a Defunct country of the old Eastern Region, unless you would ask an Calabar man what Biafra means, I don't think you are being sincere

Yorubas know how to pronounce Igbo

It Yoruba Igbo means:

-cannabis
-bush
Yorubas are actually inconsequential in this regards, what percentage of humanity does Yorubas represent, when I'm talking about that pronunciation issue, you should know I was referring to the British

To be polite, I'd ask for evidence behind those 2 weighty statements.

The map does not in anyway possible, support either.

.
In reference to the map, did you see the name Yoruba there, in reference to the map did you see non Igbo areas and did you see any Niger minority apart from Calabar, so where is Ijaw, Ogonis, Isoko, Ohorbo, Itsekiri, those unmarked areas are areas of diversity or scarcity where there several mix up or there quite a few people

And if you are not polite what will you be, what are you gonna do huh, better go and do your own research and warn your people not to throw a punch that would backfire, the jokes are actually on you.

Then it is inadmissible.
It could be lies and its dates could also be mixed up.

We have a map here from 1600 showing that Lagos was under Benin rule. If you cannot show us a map of at least 1500 showing Awori ruling Lagos, then shut up.

Refer to my comment above. Oral history is not usually accurate.

A missed bullet can be recanted as bulletproof powers.
75 years man old can be retold as 140 years old man.

Give us concrete evidence like that map or rest.

All these rubbish you're spewing shows that the so called Aworis came to Lagos AFTER Benin was destroyed. They are mere opportunists.

I challenge you again, show us proof that Aworis ruled Lagos before 1600.

No sea route for you guys grin

[b]Come Opobo n claim it not ranting n foaming in the mouth.
You Miscreants will be here telling millions of people who they are. Aren't there ibos from bonny in this forum.
Oh I forgot, there is no Ibo indigene from. Hahahaha

Ignorance has finished this one. Now let me educate you, of all the Igbo clans in the SS, Opobo is the only one that observe annual reunion with Igbos of SE. They do this in two ways; by celebrating the Nwaotam cultural festival in Aba and by royal fathers visit! Ask anyone who is living in Aba and they will inform you that the two most popular and flamboyant Igbo cultural festivals celebrated in the city are the Abriba cultural parade and Nwaotam masquerade festival.

Now, ask yourself the following questions;

1. If the Opobo people doesn't consider themselves Igbos, why would they be bringing their most prestigious cultural event to Aba?

2. If the ijaws truly believe that Opobo people are their brothers, then why did Isaac boro use the cover of Nigerian army to commit crimes against the good people of Opobo during the civil war?

I just dey laugh una because too much of ogogoro has really messed you guys up cheesy cheesy
