This map should put an end to all this unnecessary talk about Bonny and Opobo on this forum.

Igbo land never extended to the coastal areas in present day Rivers State and there is no evidence any igbo kingdom went to war and defeated any coastal area before and after the arrival of the white man

This map shows West Africa in 1600, at a time of considerable political upheaval and internal migrations.

By the turn of the 17th century, the inroads of Moroccan armies into the great Songhay trading state - which had once spread from modern Nigeria to the Atlantic - had reduced it to a rump on the middle reaches of the Niger. The same period also witnessed the final collapse of the great Mali empire, much of whose influence and territory had been controlled by the Songhay during the previous century.

The historical kingdom of Benin (part of what is now Nigeria) was already in the process of extending its influence from the Niger delta into Lagos. Over the next hundred years, the independent African states - including the group of Hausa states (shown in dark green on the map) and the Mossi states around the upper reaches of the White Volta - would be able to maintain or expand their territories. The kingdom of Dahomey (now southern Benin) and the Asante (now the southern part of Ghana) had yet to begin their respective expansions over the Slave Coast and Gold Coast.

Even the Map did not say that Igbos were landlocked, the map showed Igbo heartland and the established people as at then, as you can see areas like Ijaw, Ogoni, Isoko, etc was not identified in the map, those were established people of that era, it do show that Igbo is older than even the Yoruba ethnicity, we had always been Igbo but look at Oyo, so you see the coastal area had always been a melting port, And Igbos are part of that melting pot that's why it was not designated

Landlocked dot circle Biafra Republic.

Ijaws were unjustly Balkanized into Ondo, Edo, Delta, Bayelsa, Rivers and Akwa-Ibom States, when all Ijaws are fully together and share perfect boundaries with each other, without other tribes passing through, and entering our centre.

Ijaw Republic our home.
May God bless the Ijaw Republic
May God bless the Ijaw hero General Ditari.

Ijaw Republic or nothing else.

I can't explain to my thoughts how you understand the maps you're posting to come up with this wap statement of yours....

You need to reduce your hate to a tribe that doesn't care about you and your family....

The tribe war is political and not about supremacy... Somehow, it's about equality in federal character....

Every tribe fights for favour and seeks what they deserve....

You wimpy kids grow into changing the narrative to war...

I hope you grow into an intelligent adult... Stay good, comrade.

Dunce, the earliest recorded history of Igboland is what will be used and not Aboki military creations of yesterday.

All recorded data dating back to early 1600's, 1700's and after by both the Portuguese and English explorers all recorded that Igbo clans, particularly the Ndoki established Opobo, Bonny and Azumini areas! Till date, all these areas still speak Igbo language and practice Igbo culture!

Even the first Igbo language Bible was written in Bonny Igbo dialect!

That we lost a civil war doesn't mean our native lands will be taken away from us! Germany lost the WW11 and was divided into two with communists ruling the East Germany but at the end of the day, the Iron Curtain fell and they were reunified!

Pray that Nigeria doesn't break up because the day it breaks up is the day Bonny and Opobo will be reunified fully with the rest of Igbo country. We have the exhibits and all facts on our side to win in any court of arbitration and if any fool thinks they can stand on our way, we push them all into the Atlantic ocean.

Bonny, Opobo and Azumini will host three of our ports and we will ensure they become prosperous cities.

Map of West Africa in 1600

This is the source I got it from

If you wail from today to tomorrow, nothing will change the fact on ground.

Unless there is a valid record of Arochukwu or any other igbo clan going to war with any coastal area and defeating them in war before 1923, then igbo land only start and end in the South East Geopolitical Region of Nigeria.

When you guys are ready for Biafla, referendum will be conducted in the Old East Central State that is presently made up of Anambra, Imo, Enugu, Abia and Ebonyi.

No wailing by anybody will change the facts on ground.
