In the Michigan case, there is evidence that the parents actively aided and abetted by ignoring the clear warning signs and in one case, his mother even texted him "don't get caught" when he was caught searching for ammunition.

Now, the school authorities can be held responsible if it is found that they acted negligently, or wilfully encouraged such beatings, or then covered it up when it happened. But never just because the beating happened at school.

Avoid misinforming people.

It has nothing to do with where the gunman came from.

American or Nigerian law does not hold a parent or family member responsible for their

like a fighting soldier in battle field, you come across a 15years old boy holding RPG about to fire into camp of 5batalion of your fellow soldiers, you at his back with your rifle aiming at his head, will you allow him to fire the RPG before you take him down? Or first save your colleagues? Those boys if allow to live, will kill as many as possible in future, as for me, they should be executed

From my knowledge of watching crime TV like CI. Minors can be charged as adults In criminal cases especially when life is lost. In the US a 13 years old was tried as an adult in the death of his parents. Several 15-17 years have also being tried as adults in criminal cases.
What I know is that justice must be done

Those faces I am looking at are not minors o. They may not be up to 18 years chronologically, but those guys are "majors" in crime and murder. They should go and face what murderers face for a while so as to learn a lesson and to serve as deterrent to others

They could be charged as an adult (I doubt if we do this in Nigeria) like the current one in US, where a 15year old is charged for murder of 4 and injuring 7 others.

If found guilty, they will be withdrawn from their parents and kept in custody until they are 18 and then convicted for murder

They will be tried at the juvenile Court. If found guilty they will remanded at the juvenile center till they are up to 18 before they are sent to prison to go and continue eating watery beans and okra soup
