I judiciously went through this thread and noted all the free resources that previous test takers used. I reviewed them, selected a few and ran with those (including IELTS E2 or Jay on YouTube) albeit only for about two weeks over a 1 month period.

Prospective test takers, be encouraged! You can do even better

Listening and speaking practice exams from ieltsonlinetests.com

Reading and writing practice exams from Cambridge IELTS 14 to 16

For answering techniques and preparation I used YouTube videos by ieltsdaily, ieltsliz and ielts E2 language. E2 Language was exceptional with respect to writing for me.

Thirteen days after my exam, I got an email with a link to view my results. That's the standard for paper-based exams. How long has it been since your test date?

Incase you need a reliable IELTS coach, send me a reply. We provide both physical and online lessons and our main tutor is a Band 9.0 master in the IELTS test. He knows what it takes to score 7,8 or even 9 in the test, because he has achieved these scores on his own, in the past.
