You are also on point but the greediness of most car dealers is out of this world. They'll import and fix salvage vehicles and then add 100% or more of the total amount it cost them to buy, import, clear, fix and bring or put the car on stand or lot.

The bolded parts illustrate very good example of my clean title Lexus Es 350 2012 with actual mileage of 58,000 miles that a customer priced from 7M to 5.5M in Abuja told me he will get it in Lagos at that price despite I asked him to come pick it for 6.5M.

I made him know that even if he sees such clean title ES 350 2012 in Lagos, he cannot get it for 5.5M. All he will most likely get is packaged accident vehicle and he should also consider the cost and risk of bringing it to Abuja. I left him when he didn't listen and it is such people that will be regretting later.

The conclusion is that most Nigerians who prefer cheap cars do not bother to know much about the cars they are buying encourage those cutting corners and don't really encourage the straightforward ones.

Try to always see abroad pictures

Mileage tampering or altering is a red flag.

It is usually done to put high prices or deceive that a car hasn't been driven or used much.

VIN tampering is also real

Scan the car with a good car scanner to know faults in the car's system.

That could also help you know what to offer, what you might need to repair, if any, and the likes.
