The counselor didn't try at all.
The woman too is guilty. Why didn't she also speak up when her child was bullied.

With such evidence, awareness could have been created and the outrage would have stopped the nonsense....it could hàve saved Sly his life.. There she was, calling out a paid employee who was under an unconcerned management, while she a concerned parent would have been in the best position to shout it out

The culprits shouldn’t be allowed to go freely. Slyvester should get the justice he deserves. His death is just a terrible one.

I doubt if he didn't speak out. For him to leave meant he must have been making inputs which were always discarded and thrown inside the wastebin.

Looking at the attitude of the same principal that quarrelled Silvester's father for posting the story online, knowing it was the same principal that told the woman it has not been posted online and slept on it as if nothing happened should speak volumes.


The principal is the problem. I doubt if she listens to advise. If the principal is intensely quizzed, she might fault or implicate Chief Philips for same demeanor.

Even in this Sylvester's murder, here on nairaland, I have read terrible comments from some nairalanders that Nigerians like to pull people down, that we are bent on pulling down the owners of Down, simply because people called them out for coverup

I don't know why I kind of feel that this woman is also guilty of what she accused the ex-dorm manager of. Why did she also not speak up when her child was abused? This could have saved Sylvester's life. Or did her child just narrate his own ordeal after the Sylvester case?


These schools sef... There is a reason lagos state government separate high schools into junior and senior high schools back in 2002. Private schools should do the same so that only children within the same age bracket would be confined within the same compound.

The physical built of an SS3 student is very intimidating when compared to that of a JSS3 student. They shouldn't be sharing the same infrastructure else cases like this will not go away.

Stop being unintelligent. The man resigned 9 years ago. Things were probably not as bad as this at that time. Also, he didn't have a strong evidence to prove his case

The woman that was crying and being emossional had a video evidence of same thing happening to her son and she didn't speak up. She's far more responsible for Sylvester's death than the councillor. She even lied that she didn't eat nor drink since Sylvester died .

Crying and being emossional will not solve any thing

And here I am thinking that expensive schools provide better security and education for children, 3m per annum? Indeed nobody in this country is safe now. From the lower class, to the middle class to even the elites. All thanks to our beautiful government institutions, and politicians and their policies. Just hand the schools over to the missionaries, this country is completely finished.
