The first time I tasted it, it was fried with red oil very crunchy. Fresh ones are always good but most of what I see here were so dried and most times they have unpleasant odour due to long storage.

There is this insect I and my secondary school mates back then do catch, we call it apayeje(i.e something that kills and eats bird).

Is that a locust OR what?
