Hi guys, I tried to nail Nigcomsat using 12518H/29500 few days ago I couldn't hit green. Instead, I was getting joy TV with the same TP. Kindly help. Has the to changed? Thanks

Lol I've not even started using it for up to a week and it's just two satellites thats connected to the decoder

Try do a factory reset on it and if it's still persists then return it since you just start using it

It's been over a week now without signal. I've changed the cable behind the decoder and can confirmed that its intact.

I guess you are using TSTV decoder, why not try out another decoder (probably FTA) to confirm it is not from the dish.

pls i need help o.. i installed nigcomsat for a customer and i use strong gold for the customer he now requested for an extension in his room so i connectted it to back of the decoder using RF in for the extension and i searched for the channel through vhf/uhf but the station didnt show so i tried just the cable only by inserting it inside the cable rf out it shows but not clear if i use male and female plug rf in or out it didnt show...ehat can i do pls

Connect the wire to Rf out and search

i use 12245v27499 to track it, my lnbf was at 9 o'clock.



i actually hit green(82%) but when i blind scan, i was seeing startimes channels only. i plug a dstv decoder and it refuse to work too.

pls what am i doing wrong here?

You tracked Startimes instead of DStv...DStv is East while Startimes is South

track dstv first, then lower the dish to get nigcomsat

It should be connected to rf out. Use a signal booster to get clearer picture

Hi guys, anytime i switch on my decoder (4954) there'll be no signal at all, until i perform a blind scan.
Isn't it supposed to scan the channels itself once i switch it on?.... Any solution to that?

Factory reset and rescan
If that doesn't work reload the firmware
If it doesn't work, return the STB

Satellite decoder will not scan channels by itself. You need to blindscan manually except you are using gotv, dstv or startimes

Please l need working satellite names and their frequency. Thanks

You Are Right, But I Think What He Mean Is That, While Tracking StarTimes The Dish Always Faces South Not East.
