I sent a mail to IOM yesterday to fast track my appointment and move my location to lagos.
Good enough, I got a mail at 6pm that my appointment date is tomorrow 14th of December by 10am.
I live almost 7 hours from lagos(traffic), there's no way I'll be able to make it for tomorrow, there's no notice time at all.
Can I go there on Wednesday with my appointment letter stating why I couldn't make it for Tuesday

You should have gone there today.And sleep in a nearby hotel. You may not have the opportunity of been called for another appointment soonest......................

It was really devastating because the reason for the refusal wasn’t sensible as I was the sponsor of my elder brother who got his visa July but I was refused based on personal asset and financial status despite having 20m in my account, lands and 4 houses, only to find out in my gcms note they misrepresented the sponsor for my parents meanwhile I was the one sponsoring myself probably because of my age lol as I’m just 25.

This is getting worrisome, I have done biometrics since nov 30th (priority) and no mail yet. Tracking it, it is still on recieved by DMC, sent a paid mail last week thursday and they said decision has been made, yet it had not been transfered to VAC, abeg can I reply the response?

It is possible that same day but you will go in by 12moon. It attract a fine of 8,500 for change of address.

Are you changing from coventry University?

Will I pay to the IOM bank account before going there or paying physically at the center.

Anyways I reapplied and still waiting for their response. Fast forward to November, I took the alternative option and started my uk application.

Applied to the university of Sunderland - 5th of November
Got admitted- 9th of November (submitted my transcripts of 4.29 cgpa, ielts and certificate)
Did a walk in tuberculosis test and got it done on the same day 12th of November (just walk in and try your best, there’s no harm in trial, I did it and I got it done)
Tution Payment of 3500 pounds with Citibank, 24hours my telex was out (16th of November)
Sunderland CAS request and questinonaire 17th -30th November)
Sunderland issued my CAS on the 1st of December
Applied on the 2nd of December (Walk in Service paid the 42k for that, Priority, Vi centre)
Transferred to DMC on the same 2nd of December
No NSF mail
No additional documents, No dependant either Passport Collection request 2:pm 13th December 2021 document pick up same day 13th December.

Declared my Usa visitor visa refusal of 2018 and two Canada refusal (visitor and student, 2018 and 2021 respectively).

In all I give thanks to God and I congratulate everyone who has gotten their visas. Special thanks to all those who have contributed in one way or the other for others to have a successful application.

Hello, I got a mail from UKVI that my UK Visa & Immigration item(s) are scheduled for delivery today by TNT. when I tracked it, what i saw was Biometric Residency Permit (BRP). I really dont know what it means as my wife is the principal applicant and i am just a dependant. What is the relationship of this BRP to my Visa application please. No email was sent to her. I also tracked the application and its still at DMC till Now. And advice or comment please. And what is the timeline of when I will get my passport back or even a response from them. Thanks

Hello fams! This is a cry for help!!!
Apparently, I was suppose to apply to Hertfordshire for next September for Msc in Mental Health nursing. I delayed a bit because of financial constraints.
Now that I am ready to apply, they are fully booked for nursing next year.

Please I need help with list of schools that allows International students to study the course with tuition fee below 15k pounds and will accept at most 3k pounds for first deposit.
Lastly, the school needs to be close to London, 2hrs drive at most.

I will really appreciate your help.

Ur Visa is the same as BRP...BRP is ur Visa type. Go pick ur Visa...

Hi, don't waste your money changing the address. I used another schools address different from the school I applied Visa for my visa was approved last week. Just do a cover letter explaining the reason for the difference. E.g, you could say the school on your TB cert was the most promising initially but you got admission at your present school and decided to go for it. Good luck.

I heard something and will like to find out how true it is. Its a fact that students have 20hours to work in a week but I heard that if you work with NHS or you do any care job( for social workers or health related students) your employee can file unlimited hours for you.

Has anyone heard of such or is someone currently doing such?

Is it backed up by law? If yes can you share a link to such info.

I will appreciate if all top top guys on here can lend a voice.

Bournemouth University has September intake but have the uncanny habit of putting you on the wait list. Apply anyway, you might be lucky. UCLAN, Plymouth, Oxford Brookes. Derby, Canterbury Christchurch. Start applying now. A few of them you may need to apply through UCAS. I advise you apply to as many as possible to increase your chances. Good luck.

Do the count from 3rd till date is it up to 15working days for standard or did you use priority?

Simply put the mail says it might take a bit longer than speculated time.

Guys…. Priority visa is still available for those that didn’t ask for a refund…… my friend and 12 other people just got their visa today after an email was sent to them for pickup at VAC.

They did their biometric on Monday and Tuesday last week.

I’m hopeful mine will be ready this week as well…

I did my walk in today in Abuja, I think you should try Abuja, I paid 42k. My appointment date was on 17th, I came today around 6, and went in by 2pm cz that’s when walk in started but some walked in earlier cz they bribed their way in with additional 10k. Abuja is well organized and no crowd. I did everything in less than an hour and the total people today weren’t up to 100. Walk in was like 20 people while those that had appointment were like 30 or so.
Good luck tho but Lagos people should not come and spoil our quiet Abuja oo lol

Lol but you forgot to add that you almost paid and the police officer at the gate told you not to worry bcs you apprehensive that the fair lady had entered before you, while sitting on the officers chair

If you are sure of the circumstances surrounding this refusal and you can carefully explain and say the truth, I'll suggest you write a letter, address it to the High Commissioner etc ( find out his title and real address) perhaps send one to their office in Lagos and Abuja. Since you are not entitled to an administrative review and you have no right appeal, this is the only thing you can do within your power.
