Was reading something in the daily mall or mail link earlier today in the comment section

Someone mentioned that Switzerland placed the UK on a red list alongside other African countries, they then removed / scrapped the entire red list after some days

UK that is on another country’s red list then went and placed African countries on a red list despite detecting more cases, having more infection and death rates too

I went and fact checked on Swiss government’s official website and found this to be true

For sure, the NHS is recruiting nurses left and right from outside UK (including naija), how much more those who trained here. There should have no problem finding sponsorship

The catch is that permanent staff nurses don't earn much for the effort involved but potential to earn more if you are an agency staff later on

Jobs will just start pouring into your notifications. You might get confused and tired because everyday there are companies posting jobs even on a Sunday. I saw my job on a Sunday morning. Some will review your cv on LinkedIn download it and contact you. Some will send you a DM on LinkedIn.


Most people are not persistent when it comes to job search in their field as long someone says there is no opportunity in that your field they have lost it. They won't bother searching again. They want to start a new degree which doesn't have to be the case.

I need some advice. I'm looking to buy a car to be used mainly for commuting to work. I am not paying cash for it so which one of these methods of financing is advisable; CS, PCP, or HP. So almost a year ago I was here asking if I could carry hot water in my babys flask ( as I know say I get hot temper and that Nigerian airport people fit trigger the hot temper with that their mumu behavior.

Hi bro,

I will advice you to put more effort on open rent. The conversation is direct with the landlord and most landlord in Glasgow are reasonable. I also think your £400 budget is reasonable and if possible you can increase it a little bit.

I understand you want to stay close to your school. But here are some suggestion which I think are worth considering.
1. It might be noisy around that Univeristy area and I don’t know what you like, but you can get an apartment outside the city center for a good price and above all a good apartment.
2. First bus is a very good bus company in Glasgow and a year student bus pass (£400) means you can go out anywhere and anytime within the city. That’s paying £1.1 a day for unlimited bus access in that day. Normally it is £4 for a days bus pass for student.
3. You can also get a flat (mayb 2bed) with a fellow student and share the rent and bills. Atleast you guys will only pay for rent as you will both get exemption on council tax for the period of your study. This is not a bad idea if you are single and don’t mind sharing flat.

My advice will be, get an apartment outside the city center, then get a 1year bus pass. You will see nice apartment with that your £400 pound somewhere around East Kilbride. And yes it might be above 30mins bus drive to your school, but first bus frequent that place with multiple buses going that direction and above all, the apartment will be very very nice.

If you specifically want to stay around your school and don’t mind a little city noise, then ignore my advice above. Also I have called you bro because of the (m) on your profile, if I was wrong you correct me. It’s more reasonable addressing people by what they prefer.

More than painful and frustrating, there was no need to force only a few people to pay to isolate especially when you tested negative 24hrs before boarding. People should be allowed to isolate at home and stop isolating after day2 negative test.
