They actioned a request for withdrawal I did via call last week Thursday night.
I'm glad it successfully came out.
I will apply for UK visa sometime else when it's convenient as my trip on Tuesday is sacrosanct.

I will call them later to find out if withdrawal will be seen as rejection in view of me applying another time.
I will revert with whatever information I get on this.

Also, for those that need PTA, the process has changed. You now register with Treasury monitoring system, fill a form and upload documents before taking it to the bank.

Please, I would like to ask, is it a must that a sponsor signs on letter of invite?( as applicable to me, my uncle who is a Brit, has invited me for a visit to the UK-standard visiting visa and as such had sent an electronic copy letter of invite).
Note: Attached with the electronic copy of the letter are copies of his P60 and int'l passport.Thanks to all in advance for your candid suggestions and answers

Oh wow, so sorry about that. I did also the same day 14th October with another family member. I sent several mails using the paid mail option, the other person got decision on 26th November while mine was December 1st. TLS collection mails dropped 2nd Dec and December 3rd respectfully. 3rd being a Friday, I went to pick the passports Monday 6th Dec with visa.

With the removal of the ban, will the visitors entering uk isolate in an hotel compulsorily for 10day? Also is the day 2 test enough or one must pay for both day 2 and day 8?

fully vaccinated day 2 only and wait till your result returns neg before leaving self isolation.
Partially vaccinated or unvaccinated day 2 and day 8 + self isolate for 10 days

No. It won't raise a concern. All you need to do is include your marriage certificate and wedding pictures.
