MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update popped up last night on my RN8 and I didn't even hesitate updating.
The phone feels more faster and notifications are no longer scattered like on MIUI 12

Can I use this on my redmi 9c because I don't like the latest update of 12.0.18

Just like Sir Genius have said, 'every Xiaomi model has its own ROM, and one devices' ROM can't be used on another.'

Been playing PUBG Mobile for long periods and I don't experience over heating ever since. When I mean long periods 2-3hours almost everyday I'm free.. that was before the update sha after the update I've not played too much but when I did it was still the same thing.

I haven't updated and the phones temperature whenever I'm gaming is just too much to handle,it forces me to quit the game most times

For the first time I will say I'm able to obviously see an improvement following an update, I'm using RN10 Pro and the latest 12.5.9 has made my phone very fluid, doesn't heat up. Maybe the additional 2GB RAM extension is the reason the phone feels more fluid to me, just maybe. Overall it seem to be a great update and I'm loving it so far.

CoDM is a lot more intensive than PUBG, try playing battle Royale on CoDM for the same stretch of time and see. Remember to set your graphics and frame rate to the highest your device can handle

That would definitely heat up and cause battery drainage unless you're in a cold environment.

Now that's where your problems lie.. knowing the my phone isn't capable of keeping up with the highest possible settings available and it's a battle royale I prefer lowest possible graphics settings and highest possible FPS... Na why I dey game for long without having heating issues. Nd PUBG Mobile is more graphics intensive the CODM.

I was only following up on your conversation with the other guy. He complains his device heats up while playing CoDM, you said yours doesn't albeit you play PUBG.

Now, know this, PUBG isn't even close to CoDM when it comes to system requirements (CPU and GPU). A lot of mid-rangers would play PUBG smoothly at very high settings.

Just so you know sha, CoDM no be PUBG papa mate grin

Bosses in the house, I need your input.
I recommended Huawei Y9 to a brother about three years ago. Till date, he confesses that it's the best device he has used so far. It has never developed any kind of faults since its purchase. If you have used the phone before, you will understand.
Now he wants to change device and he is counting on me to recommend an excellent choice. To him, it's Huawei or nothing, but the problem now is that Huawei no longer supports google play services.
I want to recommend a Xiaomi device, but I have never used any before. My only exposure to Xiaomi is what I read here time to time.
I need something with long lasting battery, excellent camera, never heats up, speedy performance, and of course very attractive to the eyes. Money isn't a problem, but he is looking at between 80k to 130k.
Those with experience should recommend something, please... and I hope I am not about to make a mistake opting for a Xiaomi device. This is a matter of trust.
He is not interested in fairly used, please. Don't tell me you have a very neat phone you purchased yesterday.
Thank you all, and God bless you.

I understand you boss. That's what I have in mind. Just because you know someone can afford just about anything doesn't mean you should help him waste money. To be honest with you, it's more like that's the budget I have in mind for him. Yes, he wants me to make the budget decision too. I'm trying to be prudent here.
But if you have something that is slightly higher than that, I'm open to your recommendations, sir.
Imagine recommending a phone of 200k for someone and it starts developing faults in less than 3 months??
I just want a good phone at modest price sir.

MIUI 12.5 Enhanced.

I downloaded the Full ROM to install manually. Also phone temperature has reduced from mine.

Does installing the full ROM reduce space consumed on the phone?

That only happens if the update itself reduces system space.

I have a choice to make between Redmi note 10s and Redmi note 10 pro.
Are they worth it? Though it seems Redmi note 10 pro is not available on Jumia for express shipping. In that case, is there any offline store I can purchase it in either Benue state or Abuja?
Or should I go for the Note 10s available for express shipping on Jumia?
