Be deceiving yourself.
Air hostess can kick u out of the plane if she feels your dressing is inappropriate. They have the final say inside the plane.
An American professor was removed off the plane because she was allergic to pets and didn't want to sit near a dog in the plane.
A Nigerian woman and her kids who bought a first class tickets were kicked out of the plane because another passenger complained she had body odour.
Leave all this rights and international law u talking about. Its obvious u not familiar with air travels rules and regulation.

A pilot is the captain and has the unequivocal right and authority to ask any passenger including staff to disembark if he feel (in anyway) that the passenger has behaved in a manner that is unbecoming.

He has the power and has permission to use it. You do not argue or fight, when a pilot tells you to get off his plane, you get the eff off.

It is like a danfo driver telling you to take your money and get out of his bus. That is where it ends, you get off. He has the power and authority
In as much as you're right IN A WAY, have you forgotten that 98% of those danfo drivers own their vehicles? Is the pilot the owner of the vehicle? And you can easily board another danfo or trek if such driver insists you get down. Look at the time the pilot is telling someone to disembark, booking a flight now is almost 50k bro, and you have the audacity to tell someone to disembark from plane you no buy just because you don't LIKE the person. You try. Some of you be forming boss over others. In overseas the only time a pilot can do this is when passengers fight each other or don't comply in wearing facemask.

Ur mad, very mad. The same plane that the passenger paid for it's tickets. The pilot has no such right, it's not his personal plane, his duty is to fly the plane.

You must be a fool for saying this.
Seems you have not been on a flight to know that some of the air hostess and pilots can be very rude.

He should get down after paying for the flight,
The pilot should also be able to give him enough money to book PJ urgently.

What if he has an international flight to catch or a meeting to attend, you are here spilling trash.

If I was on that flight, that young man is going no where, rather the airline will change the pilot.

Must you like the faces of everyone you serve?

Because he is the captain he has unequivocal right and authority to ask any passenger including staff to disembark if he feel (in anyway),

Olodo his right can be questioned if used wrongly.

Dubai thunder fire you there.
No mind him grin

I laughed when I read the part where he said pilot can order president of a country to disembark from the airplane if the pilot so wish grin

There are rules & there's limit to everything

Miyachi:
They do not have the final say, don't be blinded by your sentiments. They are guided by the rules of the airline. If you took the time to read up on the instances you cited, you'd find out that the airlines cited rules that the passengers broke.

Even at that, if you feel a rule isn't fair or infringes in your rights, you can go to court.

You are not a judge and you can't adjudicate over a matter and say a person doesn't have the right to seek for a redress.

What I don't understand is how anybody can defend the pilot and say he can deplane a passenger because he doesn't like him. That is not a valid reason.

Again I state my point, a pilot or air hostess or airline carrier cannot kick you off a flight arbitrarily after you've boarded, you have to be breaking a rule.
I had to quote because u erroneously stated 'except for security reasons, a pilot has no right to remove u from a flight'. I had to give u the reality check.
A pilot can kick u out of his plane even for flimsy reasons. Or what has exposing the titties or having body odour got to do with flying the plane.
Any behaviour that has the potential to cause disruption in the plane is a threat to the safety of the flight. Now this statement is very broad and subject to multiple interpretations.
In the case of this thread, a passenger was seen arguing with an air hostess. Now things can escalate quickly and both may start exchanging blows inside a plane in mid air. The pilot can become distracted, endangering the lives of passengers on board. To avoid this scenario, the threat has to be removed.
The above can be applied to all examples I gave u earlier, thus their removal.
Once u start arguing with the air hostess in the plane, u can be removed. know this and know peace.
As for going to court, I wish u good luck.

She was told to put a top on and she complied yet wasn't allowed to board the plane. She never admitted to fighting anybody.
It was the airline that claimed she behaved disruptively when told to put a top on. we don't know if its true or not.
The point is you can be kicked out of a plane for reasons not related to security risk.
I brought up those examples to show u 'pilot has no right crew' that u can be booted out of a plane if they don't like u. They will always find something to say.
Just like they did to that Nigerian woman in the 2nd story....go read it up.

grin So, the video jutified what the pilot did? No! This is just to tell you that fools can be anything and won't mind losing their job or tarnishing their career.

This video never supported the pilot but goes to show sample of such incident.

So, had it been this is an exam, this video is what you will come up as fact?

Fools can be from any race or from any profession.

If a pilot see something bad he has the right to report such a person and security will take control. Only foolish people act otherwise irrespective of their race.

Thank you

The highlighted settles it. The something bad is at the discretion of the pilot. Yours as a passenger is to comply. Arguing with him on what is bad or good is futile. U will be kicked out anyway. Know this and know peace.

You are not getting it Mr. Man.

A pilot duy is to fly the plane. There shouldn't even be any face to face interaction. His duty lies in he cockpit.

If he got any report, he can radio in for securities or if already on air, should radio the nearest port to land and allow securities take care of things.

Can the stupid pilot control issues if the culprit holds a dangerous ammunition? Be sane for once and stop this show of being green.

There is a story presently on Yahoo about a man kicked off a flight for wearing a thong across his face instead of a mask.

TBH, this analogy doesn't necessarily pass the vibe check the silly situation displaying up there. The plane doesn't personally belong to the pilot like a bus belongs to a danfo driver. Are you trying to tell me there isn't some sort passenger quality assurance?

The flight was delayed 7 hours and the passenger probably raised his voice to complain, and the pilot's ego is bruised. Yeah they kicked him off but that doesn't make it always right. The passenger is probably a powerless regular person. Are you trying to tell me it would have played out like this if it was the son of a minister?

Pilots are arrogant, cocky people who act like they rule the world because they sit and watch a plane fly itself. Mtchew.
True. Pilot and Doctors, they are have the biggest chip on their shoulders.

Its good that you acknowledged that a danfo driver needs return your money first if he wishes to kick you off his bus. Now please kindly show where this passenger was first refunded before the poorly-trained pilot attempted kick him off.

Yes, the pilot is the final authority on a plane. In saner climes, one gets a refund once a service is declined, but we all know how it goes in Naija. So, sorry sir, if you want me off your gaddam plane, fine but my money back first, thank you kindly.
