It's the fear of domination, no one wants to be dominated, and that's how they interpret Igbo actions. Moving to Lagos to establish a movie industry, the other ethnic groups, namely Yoruba people, would see it as an attempt to dominate. That's why they quickly established their own one, likewise in the North.

That's all the "other" groups think, when they see Igbo people making moves. Domination, Domination, Domination. It's that same mindset that drives them to knock down properties belonging to Igbo people.

That's the problem you're faced with when you have forced unions, ethnic groups that are very dissimilar from one another, living together in a single entity. The reality is, all men aren't created equally, and it's that same fear that's been the bedrock of the Nigerian mindset.

The only solution is capitulation, for Yoruba people to allow Igbo people to control everything within their domain or for Northerners to allow Igbo people to run all the businesses and control all of the wealth of their land. But we know that's NEVER going to happen.

P.S. Naturally, Igbo people would be "more" Nigerian than everyone else, because we stand to benefit more from that thinking. We're overwhelmingly the entrepreneurs, the business men and women. The builders, the traders, etc... and so, other regions within Nigeria would be looked at as fertile grounds. New lands to generate wealth and profits, at the expense of its current inhabitants (at least, that's how our actions will/would be interpreted).

Why don't those groups not fear American domination or British domination or Lebanese domination? The same igbos elicit similar fears in Cameroon, South Africa, Malaysia and so on for the very simple reason being that our tribe is very undiplomatic.

I once watched a program on CNN of an American billionaire who wanted to buy an oil block in South Sudan. He left his private jet at home, took commercial plane, then practically kneeled in front of the South Sudanese officials. They promised to get back to him. Thats diplomacy. If its an average Igbo trader, he is loud, arrogant and dismissive everywhere he goes.

Meanwhile the Europeans looting billions from Nigerian oil you will never see them cruising the streets of Lagos or Abuja in lambourghinis or making showy entrances at weddings. You just never see them.

Mark Zuckerberg who came to Nigeria was low-key, polite. He wore a suit to meet Nigerian government officials. Thats diplomacy.

...... and they left with a fully loaded aircraft of 50 passengers! For an inaugural flight, it's a fantastic count!

Besides, they announced on the 17th that they would be flying on the 18th, potential passengers would have already booked their flights elsewhere.

This is unprecedented. The airport started off fully booked already. Even with five airlines, it will still be fully booked. This airport will be the busiest in Nigeria aside Abuja and Lagos international airports.

Who said we shouldn't accept our brothers and sisters lost in lagos as actors back?
We will accept them if they return home.
If they start doing the right thing, they will take over the industry again.
Anybody who said we shouldn't accept them back with their failures is not igbo. That's never the igbo spirit.

Anytime I wanna market Nigerian singers to people I always use flavour and phyno. I have my reasons.

You are just a useless Idiot. You can't fool anybody here. Your history is open for everybody to see, thanks to Nairaland.

But let me ask you a question, since you have been mocking Imo indigenes for weeks now, trying to turn it to Anambra vs Imo something, has it worked?

Haven't you noticed that Ndigbo are smarter and see through you Nigerians schemes?

And finally from what I noticed from the previous episodes from you Nigerians, you first move in threads before you finally show face with your murderers. So it is easy to deduce that your killers are about to return to Anambra.

You're making ZERO sense, and anyone reading between the lines can detect your anti-Igbo sentiments and animosity! You're parroting exactly what bigoted, anti-Igbo groups and persons in Nigeria say about Igbos.....that we're 'undiplomatic, loud, arrogant and dismissive'! Just listen to your pathetic self!

There needs to be a standard for assesing 'diplomatic ethnic groups' in Nigeria, so you are saying Igbos are 'undiplomatic' in relation to who? The Yoruba and Fulani (the two other major ethnic grps in the country)?

Those grps don't don't fear American, British and Lebanese domination, as you say, because these are not Nigerians that they are tied to as co-compatriots in 'one Nigeria'! They would not be competing with these grps in politics and governance.....two major areas that bring about major conflict, competition and sabotage in Nigeria! In the area of business, these countries are only allowed to operate in Nigeria with the 'blessing' and to the extent the federal govt allows them to (which grps have been controlling the federal gov't from late 60s to date?), and can easily be asked to pack their bags and leave as we saw with the indigenization decree in the early 70s and Ghana-must-go! These grps can't do same with Igbos, hence they employ clandestine and covert ways to frustrate and edge Igbos out of contention, and this daft accusation of Igbos being 'undiplomatic' is part of the script aimed at showing Igbos in a bad light! Just the other day, i was watching a youtube video where the owner of Erisco foods complained of lack of CBN (or was it fed' gov't) support in his business and that the only reason he's staying back in Nigeria is because of the employment his business provides. This is the same CBN that's falling over themselves to make Dangote happy....visiting his ongoing refinery construction countless number of times! The same complaint has been made by INNOSON in the past...a gentleman who for his troubles had his wife receive a hot slap from a Nigerian security personnel when they were hounding him a few years back! We all know the story of Ibeto and how his business was frustrated by Dangote and the OBJ gov't....only getting justice when Yar'Adua gov't came in! These are the examples we know and hear of! A lot more involving lesser known Igbo would be going on unreported!

Igbos don't elicit fear in Cameroon, South Africa and Malaysia! You're lying through your rotten teeth! Don't compare apples and oranges mate.....a much more nuanced approach is needed when discussing these other countries! In South Africa, the issue is xenophobia and millions of poor south-africans thinking other Africans have come to their country to take their jobs and opportunities! Regarding Malaysia, the issue is multi-faceted! Igbos make up the highest number of Nigerians in this and other East-Asia countries, and there's bound to be a few bad eggs in every population! Now what happens is that some hateful and bigoted Nigerians with an agenda to paint Igbos as 'criminals' trawl the net looking for negative reports involving Igbos in these countries (there's one particular moniker that's known for that on this forum). As soon as they find one, they rush to Nairaland to create a thread on it, and before you can shout WTF!, the thread is on the homepage and hordes of rabid Igbo-haters pour in to abuse Igbos! I occassionally read stories in the UK of Nigerians with names from a particular ethnicity engaged in criminality, but i just read the report and move on! Now if i had the same jobless and hateful life as that bastard that seeks out negative Igbo-related reports to bring to Nairaland, i'd have achived these reports and done exactly as the bastard is doing to Igbos! This anti-Igbo agenda is what daft people like you, with a predisposition to dislike Igbos. now latch on to and use to declare that Igbos are 'undiplomatic', blah-blah-blah! Igbos have no problems in Cameroon!

Igbos are no more 'loud' or 'undiplomatic' than say the Fulani or Yoruba! It's a Nigerian thing, so don't single out one ethnicity to heap all the blame on!
