My take is

1. Egede boys should work on their group like those pirates did, maybe ask Papa Soyinka

2. Stop dirty street fight with aro boys

3. Stand real for common Africans

4 .It should convert to open groups like shocked Rottary and Lion clubs so that it will have a human face

5. Minus axe in their slogan so that tendency to fend for axes will be eliminated

6. though BBC isn't an African friendly organization, they should resort to court not just for BBC but for others and subsequent issues.

Normally, people are terrified of groups like that

Sometimes a good intended organization might go wrong by unintended misapplication of ideology or outright highjacked

No be the same NBM/ we've known all this while?... I can't take away the hunting picture of one of their ruthless killing in front of agbowo shopping complex back then 2001 or 2002 thereabout. A gang of 5 guys in black. 3 axing their victim while two stand by with their hands inside their jacket taking a watch for probable intrusion...No one dare intrude. Once the guy was confirmed dead...they left with just 2 shots and their usual shout...meeeen, they took their time killing that guy....back in those days of many deaths per week..

The BBC documentary committed a lot of fundamental errors and it is right to highlight these.

First, NBM and most other confraternities in Nigeria do not necessarily force you to kill, rob or indulge in crime. I’m saying this because I grew up amongst these people. You are directly responsible for the individual path you choose to follow. The documentary made it seem like NBM tells its members to deal in drugs, fraud, human trafficking and murder. Like every organization on earth, you cannot subject your members to a particular life style. Tuface, Larry Gaga, Davido,Burna Boy, Daddy Showkey, Vector and many more are reputable members of the organization. They are not criminals. Trying then to project the NBM as a type of Mafia where everyone is in on the crime is totally and morally wrong. Yes, there are bad people in NBM but NBM does not make people bad.

Second, the use of footages from EndSARS thugs and other Eiye members arrested in Europe as members of NBM is wrong. The gathering of street thugs as members of NBM is wrong. I’m saying this because I know for a fact that that isn’t what NBM is about. There’s an agenda here to push NBM and other confraternities as those responsible for the mayhem sponsored by politicians during EndSARS

Third, the reporter, is on record to defend the federal government during ENDSARS and denied there was a massacre. All is deliberate to change the narrative. It won’t fly!

It's so disheartening that we wallow in ignorance as against reality. NBM of Africa has been and will always remain a Pan-African Group saddled with the objective of making a better today and tomorrow for the black race and the world at large.

This documentary is just a misleading and selfish broadcast which should be brought down immediately.

Africa is the future and it starts with NBM.

And as for it relationship with , please seek for more knowledge instead of speaking ill.

NBM is Ayez, Ayez is NBM, no need to debate on it, if they said, they have nothing in common, their flag, colors and symbols re these same, so you can't deserve us. Same with Norsemen Klub and SVC, they're all the same.

My advice to all the cultists Killin themselves is, they should trade their Killins to sambisa forest and bandits, they're needed there grin grin

What is happening in the Nigeria of today and why are the children of today, so different from the ones in the 90's and early 2000's. With the introduction of smart phones the internet and the world has become easier to scroll through. Our children have more access to information and are more likely to be influenced by what seems to be popular.

Cultism is another trend that is so popular, that it has spilled out of our higher institutions of learning and into our neighbourhoods. From Surulere, Ikorodu, Eti-Osa to Epe, you will hear of killings by cultist who have never been to school in their life, talk less of having a WAEC certificate. Parents of today work more and earn less, so it is difficult to be aware of everything happening around their children. If you were in secondary school from 2016 downwards then don't compare yourself with the students of today.
When you were bullied it was by a bully, today most secondary schools have been infiltrated by various cults and your children are facing situations you faced in the university at that tender young age. If you mix the internet with cultism, then you now have a time bomb worse than isis, boko haram, kidnappers and bandits.Let me explain and I need for us to be objective, because we blame government for almost everything yet we don't take responsibility for our own actions.

Davido is a star musician, celebrity, icon and a role model to many youths and adults everywhere. Even if you don't like his behaviour, he is a genius when it comes to his music and brand. Davido is a known member and his glorification of his affiliation to the cult is one of the reasons you see a surge in our streets, our secondary schools and even in the NURTW. Most join because they want to be like him and have the opportunity to relate with him. We need to also hold our stars accountable because without us they are nobody. Look at R Kelly, who would deny that he is not a genius and with all his talent, his personality still betrayed him. R Kelly slept with under age women but be honest when you hear some of his old songs you can't help but to vibe to it. People like davido a lot, but as a role model he is leading our kids astray, he should come out and denounce cultism and use his voice to champion good causes. Stop the unnecessary fights and brawls because our children are watching. I would also site some other artists by mention, but Davido is the town crier when it comes to boasting of him being a cult member. David is the most powerful Axe member in the world, because of his fame and financial stance.

https://dailypost.ng/2018/09/05/joined--cult-meet-davido-suspect-confesses/

I know his fans will come for my jugular, but remember you also have younger ones, and as you lay your bed so will you meet.

The fire stoked by the recent BBC documentary in which it accused NBM of Africa of derailing from a human right defence organization to a violent cult group is far from over as the group gives BBC seven (7) days ultimatum to retract the said defamatory content or face legal action.

In a letter dated 17th December, 2021, , NBM of Africa vowed to proceed to court to seek redress if BBC fails to retract the alleged defamation, insisting that it is determined to redeem the integrity of NBM through all means lawful.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lqPdxCh3pvw
In a release on Tuesday signed by the Chairman Body of Founders of the group, Comrade Ernest Amadasun, NBM of Africa alleged that there is grand conspiracy to discredit it by individuals and groups who are heavily funded.

The group insists that if any of its members is found to be involved in crime, such member should be arrested and prosecuted in court of law, saying the name of NBM of Africa should not be linked to personal wrong action of a member.

It says, "The recent Online broadcast/publication and documentary produce by British Broadcasting Corporation against our organization NBM of Africa otherwise known as of Africa has necessitated this Press Briefing in order to put the records in the right perspective."

NBM of Africa continued, "It is therefore embarrassing and against best global practice in broadcasting and journalism for British Broadcasting Corporation otherwise known as BBC and its allies to produce and broadcast defamatory documentary online through YouTube and segment of its organization known as the African EYE against the integrity of NBM of Africa.

"In the said online broadcast and documentary by British Broadcasting Corporation, BBC persistently referred to our NBM of Africa as and allude to unfounded facts that NBM of Africa involves in violence and criminality.

"The defamatory documentary and broadcast which has gone viral on the internet and further broadcasted by BBC on the 19th day of December, 2021 defamed and disparaged our organization’s reputation and character with obvious consequences that have caused NBM loss and divestment of integrity by prudent members of the society, which has caused our organization to be held in abysmal disdain, disrespect and odium by ordinary and prudent members of the society."

I have said it before that the major problem with Naija is not the People but the Government...Why should this man have such temerity if not that the CAC Knowing deep down these people registered today as cooperate organizations are the manufacturers of the now violence that's in campuses today, they were the then key players of these cult groups.
They're only trying to disassociate themselves from the virus they
Created.
Are NBM of Africa under CAC not the same virus known as BlackAxes?
Are NAS under CAC not the same then
Cancerous Pyrates?
Are BAN under CAC not the same
Unscrupulous Buccaneers?
Are Norsemen under CAC not the same
Dreaded Vikings?!
Why won't these idiots not come out boldly and promote the nonsense when they are still shielded by the Government under different guises.
That a million people are doing something wrong does not make it right.
That Davido,Tuface,Burna boy and co are members of NBM does not mean it is not a vicious and notorious stre

All these old men seemingly backing cultism in This country should have been thrown long ago into the deepest part of the sea for sharks and crocodiles to manipulate.

NBM is a reputable association that birthed people of great minds. When NBM is visiting prisons, hospitals, motherless homes and different places that needs support from individuals and organizations, people never tagged them bad. But, just because some elements are behind pulling them down with a documentary that is shady and never add up, everyone (even its enemies) are quick to react. Why are we having pictures of of old wound (ENDSARS activities) and pictures of some eiye confraternities and other pictures that are never related. Doesn't that calls for simple scrutiny? NBM is never a killer organisation nor the name painted of it by the documentary from BBC. If BBC are so sure of what was posted, why were they quick to pull it down. NBM is never a what they painted it to be by BBC. Ask and you shall know.

That BBC documentary was a job done by an amateur.
Watched it and didn’t learn anything new. Freaking shallow investigation filled with conjectures and childish drama. They should sue their arse.
Next time, they should put in decent work into making documentaries and not the cut and join drama.
There is a thread on their activities here on Nairaland that is even more interesting than the wack job done by the BBC.

That's because the members of the "organisation" who contribute on that thread, believe that they are anonymous. They'd be surprised to find out that not only are their identities easily traced, but that they are easily traceable given their comments

The documentary was poorly scripted and totally tasteless. However these old fools parading themselves as pan Africans should hide their faces in shame. Merely looking at their eyes/faces would tell you much about their youth days. Those fools have successfully split the labour market into members and non members space. They have polarised the society into different unimaginable spectrum. I wish something could be done faster to totally ban the criminal group. The BBC guy was just lazy to do a more detail finding aside violent about the evil group; now he has given them undue voice and advantage.
