Twenty nine “Hello, why am I not seeing you?” She ask. “I don't want you to see me” I said. “Don't tell me you are still a ghost oh” she said referring to my story Adanna. “I am oh” I said. “Please let me see you” she pleaded. “Not now please” i said and cut the video call. “Am sorry if you don't feel comfortable with me calling you, I didn't know you will get angry” she said. “No am not angry” I said. The thing is that she's underage, just like her as a friend, she keep me company when am bored and am okay with that, I remember when I date someone her age last time it didn't work well, not going to make another mistake again, if am to date anybody that person will be the same age with me, I need a mature person not immature kid. I continue my work, I started ignoring her message because I want her to focus on what she can see physically not what she cant feel, and with the way she was chatting with me its obvious she's spending half of her day with me, she need to focus on her life because am never going to fall for a kid again, I paid attention to her from the beginning because of her international number, because that's why my long lost love is. |

Thirty My sister told me she's got a federal work in abuja that she won't be coming to join me in London for now, I wish her luck. One year later i have gathered enough money, I sent some to Nigeria and told my sister to build a bungalow for me in abuja, everything keep going well until one say I saw Amgel message, though I have been ignoring her for long, she stop testing me but this one is different. “Hi, remember when I said I will be coming to London, I will be in London this week we are coming to do research in British museum about some nigeria artifact and since Edo have many lost artifact there they choose me and others to go because am Edo too ” she said. I don't know if I should meet her or not, but I will really like to see her, she said she's from Edo and that's my state, waoh why didn't she tell me before, now am more interested to know more about her. “When are you coming?” I sent her. “Next week Monday, we are staying for six days,” she said. “Waoh, that's cool when you land you let me know okay” I said. “Alright then”. I don't know how I will react when I meet her, anyway I will just make of simple, she will stay in a hotel with their supervisor I guess in the evening I will go visit her and take her out if their supervisor will allow it. |

Thirty one Fast forward to Monday night, I tried her line it wasn't connecting, she didn't even come online and I started wondering what's happening, she said they will lodge in Royal hotel and they will go out around 10 am and return by 3pm, I guess I should go and see if they have arrive tomorrow. The next say early in the morning after I finished taking my bath my phone beep, and then I saw her message, I was relieved. “Hi ozila, am in London now, we going out by ten but I hope to see you by four in our hotel, I hope you are prepared to take me and my friends out and show us the beautiful city” she said. “I will be there by four” I said “Please let me see your picture, I need to know your face before we meet” she said. She's right, I sent her a picture of me and all she said is “coool”. I went to work, I close early around three after taking permission from my boss, I ran home and change to normal dress, I dont know why am now eager to see her, I was the one forming for her before and now am eager to see her? What's wrong with her being underage? I ask myself all this questions as I relax in the big chair in front of Royal hotel waiting for Angel. Around minutes before four I saw a long school bus pull behind the hotel, they all came out from the bus and enter the hotel, minutes later a test came to my phone. “We are waiting for you” 1 Like |

Thirty two “Am outside your hotel” I replied her. Immediately I sent her that test I saw window open from the hotel, then the window close again and minutes later a beautiful girl came out from the hotel coming to my direction, she was wearing trouser with handless shirt, she tied her jacket round her waist and she was wearing a cap, she's light in complexion with a pointed noise she has normal stature just like Genevieve and shes tall too, my type of girl, she catwalk to wear I was sitting and when she came close I stand up. “Hello Angel” I said. She came to me and hug me so tight, I hug her too even though I was surprised. “You look beautiful” I didn't want to say it but I must said it anyway because I couldn't hold it. “And you look handsome” she said. “So where are your friends I thought we are going out together” I ask her. “I thought since its our first meeting we should be alone, you just need to follow me to the hotel and sign some paper with my supervisor saying you are my brother” she said. “Alright them let's go” I said. I followed her to the hotel and did exactly as she told me, we came out from the hotel and took a cab to a nice restaurant, she's in my domain and am going to make her feel special, we enter the hotel and took a sit facing each other, they served us drinks. “I will like to eat” she said. “Okay” I said and call the waitress. I sip my drink in silence as I watch her destroy the fish in the fish pepper soup she ordered, I smile as I watch her eating. “Why are you smiling?” She ask. |

Thirty three “You remind me of someone” I said. “Who?” She ask. “Finish your food first” I said. The bar is really buzzy, and I like it, I will take her tomorrow and then weekend we will go to emirate stadium to watch arsenal match, I hope she love watching football. She finished her food in peace and then she washed her hand. “Why dont you want to eat?” She ask. “Because you didn't invite me” I said. “Really? I thought you don't want to okay wait let me call the waitress” she said. “No don't worry, am just kidding am not hungry” I said. “Okay, am so happy I can't believe we are finally here together, when I was reading your story all I was thinking is how to meet this man, you are married right?” She ask. “no, am still single” I said. “Why? You are old enough to marry na” she said. “Yeah, still waiting for the right girl” I said. “If the right girl dont come why not go look for her, you are like 36 or 38” “38 and how do you know?” I ask. “Oh well I just guess, am 18 anyway” she said. 1 Like |
