Anybody with insight if there's gon be FSW draw next year because I'm now confused.. few weeks back I was confident that next year ITA will flow after statement from IRCC that they'll likely clear the backlogs bfore they continue with CEC and FSW.. but with the new mandate that was passed, they dint mention FSW or CEC instead dey said theyll make efforts to doll out new streams for PR.. was it delibrate from dem or they'll still stand with the formal(clearing backlogs first)

The Nigerian postal service is not reliable, I don't want the report to go missing in transit, that's why I didn't go for the standard $10 option. Thanks for your reply though.

No need for posting. the soft copy is all you need and it can be downloaded from your WES Account which you'll upload when submitting post ITA.

I just logged in now and see what I’ve. I’ve called again, same story. I don’t even know again. Elders in the house is it worth worrying over? I already uploaded my medical sheet

The date it was done is all that really matters. however reupload your e-medicals here https://secure.cic.gc.ca/ClientContact/en/Application under Add a document to your application.

they need hard copy evidence of payment. I paid today by walking into a bank to do transfer. Do the same.
Allegory:
Please people that did medicals at IOM, can I pay via my bank app ahead for my appointment tomorrow or must I go to the bank to make the payment? The crowd at banks these days

All you need is the soft copy. There is no use for the hard copy. Besides my first report was delivered even with the Nigerian postal service palaver, I was the one who rejected the report when the dispatch guy was asking for an arm and a leg after I paid. I told him to use it to decorate his house. However if you would still like to use the other options, it's your call.

Hello People, please I need help. Any Mechanical Engr here gotten Saskatchewan pnp? I’d like to find out how to go about it since it’s a regulated profession. Are there things I’m supposed to do before I get the pnp.., I understand that I’d be asked if I’ve done the exam that certifies me to practice or if I’ve registered with the province . Please help

I am not in a race with the 190k applicants already in the pool, it’s going to take blood and sweat because I’m over 30, the more the delay and point hustling, the age affect the points too.
So I’m settling for the PNP straight, I can pay today if I luckily get an email from them as we speak. That’s additional 600 and boom.

I make sense yeah? What’s the way to go from here? Wait for the email that I’m nominated ?
And for FSW, I read we need to wait till next year . It’s crazy.

adeakin:
there are 190k people in the pool too waiting for pnp. Unless your noc and maybe crs scores is high enough for what the province needs. You wont get invited. Its not automatic too. Its based on the above factors and luck sometimes. They may pick a certain noc in the past and not pick again. Go improve your cra scores too

I have been reading so much about this all day and I feel I fit in into some of them but it’s saying I have to get a nomination email before I can go on with their applications. Did I miss something ?
Shokoloko:

Google Manitoba Provincial nomination, Quebec Provincial nomination, Ontario Provincial nomination, New Brunswick Provincial nomination, Alberta Provincial nomination. Read the requirements to get a provincial nomination.

you clearly don't understand the process. You cant do anything to make them send you a nomination. You wait for some provinces, for some you apply on the province website

Pls what is the current fee for biometrics ( family of 6)
I saw $170 on ircc website but I have been unable to confirm it with VFS.
I searched "biometrics fee" here on nairaland and none points to the fee, neither am I getting the information I seek on VFS website or google

Is it that I will pay an equivalent in naira at VFS. cos I don't know. Can someone point me in the right direction?

If you have paid your application fee and right of permanent residency fee there is no need to pay at the VFS centre,
biometric is for person from 18yrs and above
if you are yet to pay you pay the equivalent of $170 at their office

You can pay with transfer. I use transfer to pay for two children for Med test. All you need to do is write your passport number on your narration, print the receipt out as evidence. That's works instead of going to bank

Ok you are not in a competition with over 190k people, you're the only over 30 year old guy in the pool who has money for the process and doesn't mind going through the pnp route. With time and prayers, you will surely get the letter you've been longing for cheesy

This your plan could have worked in 2017/18 maybe but now PnP is no longer something you settle for, especially since FSW draws have been paused for a year now, PNP has become one of the only options available to most people.

Delay and point hustling has become a part of the process. With this your plan, all you'll be doing is sitting in the pool and getting older. The options available to you are maxing out your ielts, getting a higher degree, or/and learning French, 30s is not old age. Alternatively, rather than just waste your money to sit in the pool, you can also consider the possibility that Canada might not be the best fit for you and try other countries.

If your job is currently related to what you studied in the university, why not consider Australia? You sound like you have the cash inflow, you may try that as your second option while waiting for PNP.

Good evening guys. I had my result evaluated by WES over 5 years ago. I heard it has a validity of 5 years, that's the ECA. If I'm to start this process all over again, will I need to evaluate my result again?

Please who can assist me with my transcript. I need it delivered to WES. I have applied since June. I applied via the online portal. I paid 35k. Till this very moment,my transcript has not been delivered to WES. I feel very bad about it. The very person assisting me over there left me after collecting 4k from me. The school is: UNIBEN. I stay in Lagos. If you can help please let me know. We can negotiate a fee for it but the person must remain with me till I get my transcript delivered to it desired location.
