Its a late and heavy breakfast for me one this morning... Oatmeal, a couple fried eggs, white bread and straight black coffee the way i like it..

SURE.

For the recipe, you'll need the ingredients below. Note: You can divide into half or quarter. This recipe gave me three cakes in size 8 pans.


Ingredients:
Flour----------3 cups
Sugar----------3 cups
Cocoa powder---1½ cups
Baking soda-----1 tablespoon
Baking powder-----1½ teaspoon
Salt----------------------1½ teaspoon
Sieve all this together then add the follg wet ingredients:
Eggs------------4 pcs
Buttermilk----1½ cup
Hot water-------2cups
Groundnut oil----½cup
Vanilla extract-----2 teaspoon.


Grease your pan with butter and Cocoa powder then add your batter, proceed to bake.

I don't even know any English name for okpehe lol but is the black version of locus beans (iru) in yoruba, made same way, just that I'd black and sometimes I prefer it to iru.

No the leaves, the real paw paw but unripe, you dice and sun dry or what ever means u can dry it, store and cook soup with it whenever you want.


Sometimes we pair it with sesame seeds( benniseed) to make soup too, it's a delicacy where I come from

Unfortunately, there was no whip cream so I had to improvise with milk and corn starch.
