But I never used any of them because I prefer getting different books from different authors online, with that, my knowledge is broader and wider. If I do dey grasp the concepts, I go use the DOC of the language/framework instead of those Coursera/w3school.
Udemy videos still make sense too but u not fit to compare yourself wey use udemy videos to people who read different books.
Why I dey always stand out from the multitude be say, I wan know how the stuff dey work behind the scene, not just how E dey compiles at runtime. Lalas, do whatever works for you sha.

Mumu. Better get a sense. Coding is far lucrative than a shell job. My cousin has been working in an oil and gas firm for over 4 years. Salary never enter 1m. Another guy I know just left school in 2020. Started coding when he was in the 200 level. Monthly payment 3k+ dols monthly. He works from home and is out chilling almost every time he's not working. He recently applied to Google and Facebook and both companies assigned personnel that reached out to him for an interview. He's a full-stack developer.

It's the other way round Bruv... Dahl embedded the Google V8 JavaScript engine into a c++ program we refer to as Node JS runtime today (not inside the V8 engine)

There are tons of resources out there and they can get you overwhelmed.
I'm a firm believer of udemy, freecodecamp and YouTube(Traversy Media, DevEd, FlorinPop) if your niche is web development.
If you have few bucks to spare you can jump on Udemy, I mean if you fancy coding along and taking notes with veteran instructors (Tony Alicea, Colt Steele, Angela Yu, Stephen Grider, Brad Traversy, Andre Neagoie, Jonas Schmedtmann and Maxmillian Schwartzmuhler) that will break it down to bits for ya. This will also require a lot of data but it's really worth it.. I mean if you really want to grasp the concepts of how things work under the hood(Basics)
The YouTube path is also cool if you lack funds Just subscribe to Kelvin Powell and Traversy YouTube channels. They have detailed content for tech tools like HTML, CSS, Sass, JavaScript, nodeJS, react, Vue, angular among others... Heck, you can find anything on YouTube.. Just that most of the programmers there just scratch the surface.
If you prefer documentation, MDN and freecodecamp are good options
Coding just requires persistence and focus even when you get bored.
Build projects, solve challenges, worry about certificates later

If you need globally recognized certifications,used Coursera plus their lecture model(videos and written) is great. They have many resources to plug in,like cloud computing...you don't need to download, install or run softwares or platforms on your local machine. I just got Data science professional certification today from IBM through Coursera.
