It’s been 2weeks a top politician collected my CV and forward my name, school I graduated from along side my department to a director. He said they will call me for APL or interview.

It’s been 2 weeks and am yet to receive a call.

Hahahaha. My dear all this submission of CV things doesn't work in the current state of Nigeria. Anytime there are vacancy they won't even go closer to all the CV people have submitted. They will just forward names and Appointment will be release. Submitting of CV is a waste of time.

Submitting CV or filling form at FCSC is a total waste of time and resources.

You wont lose anything by submitting your cv. A friend of mine was employed by CBN recently without knowing anyone. He submitted his CV and was surprised to be invited for interview. He was one of the lucky ones to be recruited without knowing anyone. Another friend submitted too and was also invited for interview but was not so lucky.

I am actually surprised with the type of responses i see in this chat. I am even surprised that most of the comments are centred around getting into CBN... Nobody is even asking about how they got the info that CBN is collecting CVs, or questions about how the CV was submitted in the end. Entering CBN has never been the hard part.

But!!!!! I can understand the confusion. When i said they didnt know anyone, I meant they didnt know anyone influential in CBN, or in the presidency or in the senate or in Nigeria that can help them secure the job. I am sure some of us here have friends and family working at CBN even though such people aren't in a position of influence, they can atleast help you submit CV.
