You cannot use your best Midfilder at CB. It makes no sesnse..

In the SE, Onyeka has performed better as a DM than Ndidi. Ndidi was originally a CB before Genk converted him to DM. He plays very well as a CB.

Which is why I suggested few days ago Ndidi should move to CB.

It won't fly.. The player himself is happy to receive a call-up.

Dennis is very familiar with these SE players. He played U-23 with Chuks, Osimhen and co, also has had invites here and there. Guy is very patriotic.

Already made an apology on that...I was carried away with his match against Liverpool in a league cup that ended 3-3....Thank you for the correction.

Once again, the problem with Nigerians is our tolerance for mediocrity. We have such high tolerance for mediocrity from our leaders and have people justifying it. First of all, Rohr was on “elegbete tv” confirming that Lookman and ejaria were included in his 40 Man ANC squad. (The interview is on YouTube) and what makes you think that an “in form” player at the premier league wouldn’t assimilate and perform at the African soil?? Also, isn’t it much better to give an inform player a chance to prove himself rather than someone that has been given multiple chances and still disappointing.. like I said, we as super eagles fans has to stop accepting mediocrity

It has nothing to do with mediocrity, this a proper tournament, you cant be experimenting at tournaments, there's no guarantee that he hit the ground running with the team, club side performance does not always translate, Onuachu is a clear example!

Is it not the same Olisah that played libero against Mexico and the whole defence personnel were chasing shadows.... We love mediocrity too much in this country.....merit always slaughtered to enthrone mediocrity....Na Naija we dey...we all know how it always pan out.

In South Africa? No he is not.

As a striker, yes, it is possible to be in an obscure league and still be able to compete. As a defender, you need crucial experience playing with the best strikers regularly to really hone your game. CC Ekong, he looked decent in Italy and Turkey, but when he came to the prem and met strikers like Salah and Sterling, guy couldn't match up. Some of the mistakes he has been making would have been eased out of his game much earlier in his career if he started playing guys like Salah and Sterling when he was much younger.

Ndah may look good playing against strikers from Kwara United and Orlando Pirates, but what happens when he starts an AFCON match and he has to mark Mahrez or Haller or Salah? Will he still be the real deal?

I highly disagree.. unfortunately, we don’t have many options at the middle to feature ndidi at defense. I want ndidi to stop holding back and become our own version of Patrick veira

Claudio raneri should get that to his head ,he is saying the called up time was late nff should also be blame for bringing out the list for Afcon late

Sir Ndidi is a DM,injury to Leicester CB gave him the opportunity to go back to his childhood position and no club will sign him as CB but DM.

Lookman was part of the 40 man list submitted by Rorh, but Naija magic did abracadabra so as to be political correct. Hope one day fairness and justice we be our way of life.

So it’s better to go with the one that has “disappointed” numerous times?? And will probably disappoint again? Than to give the “in form” once chances.. The best time to invite a player is when he is “in form” you should give an inform player chances and if he flips, you drop him. How difficult is such?? It must be bunch of losers commenting on this website walahi

On the contrary, I would have to disagree with your last phrase. Onuachu has performed extremely well with the SE, we just have unrealistic expectations of the guy.

If you watch his Genk games, he plays exactly as he does in the SE. Static, doesn't really mark, looks slow and poor on the ball. His prowess, however, is in his finishing. He pounces on any loose ball in and around the box, and he rarely misses.

How many misses has Onuachu had in the SE since his debut? I can remember one against Cameroon first half and few other half-chances, but I don't think he has had more than 4 misses in all the games he has played for us.

The question you should be asking is why we aren't creating enough chances for our strikers.
