Ademola lookman scored one goal yesterday... One goal o!
Suddenly he has become Messi and Ronaldo rolled into one, his exclusion has become the reason why Buhari will remove subsidy and everyone in Nigeria will suffer undecided
Iheanacho scored a goal and assisted two the other day... Heaven did not fall, people were still saying he should be dropped.
The level of foreign born ass licking here is something else!

The worse foreign born ass licker is Charlesemeka. Guy loses his senses at the mention of a foreign player. The way he worships them ehh. I remember him telling us that perennial championship underachiever like Ejaria was the best thing since bread and butter.

All these shalaye over a goal? That means Dennis's goals must have made you deaf and mute because you were the one that said Watford has bought themselves relegation ticket the day they announced Dennis's signing, then you closed their book with "I knew Watford were jokes the day they signed Etebo and Dennis, two flops"

By the way, have you said hello to Jibola Adebola, the Huesca and super eagles midfield maestro/generalissimo?

Emeka is just another version of Komekn...Though a more reasonable one....

Funny enough,we don't see this much complaint when Dennis was being ignored this season by Rohr...

Even funnier is that Emeka is so angry he has forgotten to talk about Sasiq's inclusion grin. Sadiq is one player he is always hyping here...But as Dem don call Nwakali and Ndah, he no wan praise Eguavon for the call up grin. E be things...

Uhmm, TheGoodjoe, all what you wrote does not inspire confidence. Are we going for a jamboree or to win the Afcon in Cameroon? The bolded says it all...how many times has he started a match for the Super Eagles wearing the captain band? How many XG per match as a forward does he have for the team in 6 qualifying matches to date? I thought Rorh was a very good riddance but the new coach dampened my expectations concerning this Afcon. I know Naija will be great one day.
TheGoodJoe:

I hope you know Eguavoen does not even have time for a friendly match. He has to work with what is on ground. So he can not make too much changes few weeks to he AFCON.

Let us be realistic. You can not just dump the captain.

Eguavoen has explained that he will work with the team on ground due to time. That is the only solution.

Andrewbaba44 my guy, i have always love your objectivity to football by saying the truth as it ought to be but the bolded below is over the bar grin

Andrew are you saying we sacked the archaic Rorh for nothing?
andrewbaba44:

Where did I ever said musa and shehu are making impact to this team

I have always been against those 2 ,I remember some of them here telling me that they are old members of the team and can’t be dropped ,well they should stop ranting and move on as many of them once supported shehu and musa

What line should eguavoen had follow ? He is an interim coach and after Afcon he will be gone

Maybe eguavoen should have called lord Calvin bassey and Lionel lookman and ebuehi alves to make you guys happy grin

Even at that, we've not even seen how Eguavoen will set up his team and how they play to know if they'll play the same way.

It is still here that Rohr invites proper fullbacks and wingbacks and still keep them on the bench.

If Eguavoen sets up his team just like Rohr, that's when we should conclude that we sacked Rohr for nothing.

Am seeing Eguavoen altering our CBs set up....seeing him bringing in Ejuke or Nwakili as AM.....likely he will pair Ndidi/Aribo as DM/CM.

Meaning we should lower our expectations concerning this Afcon. If we lose out from the group stage or bring back bronze medal we should accept our lot... Andrew, what i find amusing is that our journos and Ex Internationals have failed football enthusiasts by not always saying the truth about the formations and personnel of our team. What is holding Nigeria back from greatness has found his way into the sport that brings joy to you and i.

Just checking out the 40-man list given to CAF on Solace Chukwu's twitter handle. Ndah and Nwakili weren't in the list. Lookman's name was included.

An Iwuji was included at number 40.

We are even yet to see the eguavoen team play yet some people are ranting just because they didn’t call up some of their favorites who aren’t even important members of the team self

I am not a fan of eguavoen but they should cut him some slack abeg ,they just want anything as far as Na foreign coach

I want a foreign coach also but not a 9th grade foreign coach like rohr abeg grin

What where they even expecting eguavoen squad to look like self

No player in Europe's top five leagues has completed more nutmegs than Emmanuel Dennis

Dennis is still an upcoming player at the moment, he is still down in the pecking order of current African elite players, ivory coast is coming with holands and ucl top scorer, mane, salad, wendy, aubameyang, koulubaye, riyad mahrez etc will be part of Afcon. Don't build to much expectations around Dennis Emmanuel

Yeah AFCON is a tournament you don't necessarily have to have the best personnel to win, but realistically speaking if we get any medal of any color it will be an achievement due to the short time we have to prepare.

If this team is accessed in relation to the quality of opposition then we should agree that this team is average. I don't think it is the best Nigeria has to offer. I don't see what musa brought to the table in the last nations cup, surprised he is still making it to this nations cup. Oshimem isn't fit, and shouldn't be managed because this isn't a training session. Kenneth Omeruo and Shehu Abdullahi play in second division in Spain and Cyprus as against Kevin akpoguma, ebuhi who play for top flight clubs in top leagues. Is Ndah a world class defender? Cyril dessert dishonoured an invitation from Belgium in favour of Nigeria, he scored a brace at Europa the other day with feynoored, we ignore him for igalo. The worse part is the midfield, what will iwobi do? Against Algeria in the last nations cup the midfield became the territory of Algeria and we were only lucky that a hand ball gave us a consolation goal. Victor moses would have been far more effective than musa.

New players like Nwakali or Ndah, Or the five local players in the contingency team?
Those local players are put in place because of injuries. You can't ask Ebuehi or lookman to come to camp leaving their club duties without the certainty of going to Afcon.
We all should drop this sentiment. Every foreign based player won't be called, that will always be the fact. And there will always be fringe players in the team this happens everywhere.
Let's just get behind them and hopefully, we put up a good show at the tournament.

There's this commanding presence a central back will give you you'll be afraid to go near. Or his clearance of the ball, but ball will be played towards him and you watching will nearly have high BP
I swear. A central defender has to be hard yet slick. He lacks mental strength and his lack of self assurance possibly stems from him knowing he is limited in his footballing abilities.

Please what constitutes 'a rich pool of players'? Is it the leagues? Fitness level? I see at least 3 players in second division, I see several players battling with fitness issues, and some like iwobi and musa completely out of form

Sir,every decisions took by Eguavoen on the list cannot be questioned....

I highlighted why Rohr failed especially on Ebuehi and Akpoguma....it's simple,Ebuehi as integral member of Afcon qualifier will make the team but Rhor didn't gave him the opportunity......On Akpoguma it was cleared that we need him but Rohr kept him on the bench which meant he wasn't good enough....this gave Eguavoen opportunity to look elsewhere and brought in Ndah who he believed he can do it.

If am the coach I will pick Ebuehi and Akpoguma but Rohr himself didn't rate the duo and I don't see Ebuehi making it even with Rohr but possibly Akpoguma.

The only grievances you can have against Austin Eguavoen was inclusion of Olisa Ndah, nothing more.

At bolded, I said this two days ago that even with Rhor only Akpo have the chance of making it to Cameroon. Their is no time to test this guys and some people still want Him to invite all the players in this world so that if He fails they can come back to Local coaches shiiiii
