kasheemawo: Nobody has begged Tinubu to not contest. What irks people is Tinubu and supporters' insensitivity to the political trends in Nigeria vis a vis zoning and religion. 1) it's not the turn of the SW to produce president of Nigeria. Respect zoning. 2) a Muslim has never succeeded a Muslim president in Nigeria. Same with Christian. 3) because more Yoruba gave votes to Muhammadu Buhari, than other ethnic groups in the south, that's the only claim of Tinubu group to want to distort Nigeria's political trend and make the SW present a successor to President Buhari. 1 Like |

Vistra40: In bold. Anyim should be told: Barack Obama had nothing when he started his campaign to become president of the USA. In Nigeria, some big men sit down and select who shall be the next president of the country, they present their choice to the biggest political party for voters to merely formalize the chosen one with votes. Anyim needs to penetrate the kingmakers. 1 Like |

"Former President Goodluck Jonathan has met with Southsouth leaders coordinating his alleged return to the Presidency in 2023." Wishful thinking at best! Former President Jonathan was not a good leader during his years in power(2009-----2015) for a number of reasons. First, he sold out south to north by appointing northern Nigerians to all key government jobs. Second, infrastructures development disappeared during his term in office. He did not build a single roads while in office. Third, corruption gained grounds and money laundry soared--making development and jobs creation difficult. Fourth, inflation soared under president Jonathan---making local currency, Naira unworthy to buy anything. Is this what Nigerians want to go back to? 1 Like |

Igbos always like to wail on Yoruba matter but they would not say anything about south south. I don't expect south south candidate to contest for this election if they eventually zone it to the south |

kasheemawo: Jonathan was their God on Earth na. Their first 'Igbo President' since 1999. They even lament the loss of GEJ more than his Ijaw kinsfolk today. While Jonathan's Ijaw and SS kinsmen have moved on, Igbos are still fighting and blaming Yorubas over the 2015 ousting of GEJ. Sad and pathetic. Per topic, garbage that should be comedy material for AY or Basketmouth at their next show. Lol |

How many of your likes is supporting Anyim, from Ohanese to IPOB to ESN to NL haters, you daily wake up to issue threat to Tinubu not to contest but could not use that energy to promote Pius Anyim. Your likes can spend the whole days writing jargons and analysing how impossible for SW to become president in 2023. I don't really understand you, everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion. Why the fuss? If the South East is sure that their own strategy for getting presidential ticket is by reminding the Nigerians how unfair they have been treated, or through the activities of ESN and Biafra, why is it your problem? Is politics not a game again? Did Buhari not use hypocriscy to attain to where he is now? You don't have a genuine argument? The Tiniubu you are protecting used the worst political strategy against Jonathan, so why the fuss? 1 Like |
