What if a FTM happened to give birth at home surprisingly like you do? And no body around? Referring to how to clipped the cord and cut it. Any risk or disadvantage involve?

Mama, I told hubby to call our neighbor from the onset since we didn't have a car because I suspected that it might be false labour, but hubby said it can't be ( I don't know when he became a doctor ).

To your question, I didn't ask the midwife or any medical personnel in the obstetric field . I think I will ask.

This my fake doctor hubby almost poured cold water on baby , i screamed nooooooooo. i just asked him to bring flannels and wrapper, and i wrapped him very well, padded myself and he called our neighbor

It's really not for the faint hearted as mama glimpse said ooo. I have a church member who has given birth at home twice because of money, she has never even attended antenatal nor taken prenatalsbut God just helps her. She said after her first delivery, she sat and watched for like 30 minutes with the baby before she got someone who came around and cut the cord. The boy she gave birth to last October, I was sleeping when she called that she was in labour, hmmn this time it was God who helped her and she directed her husband on what to do. She said the baby came out with hands and cord wrapped around the neck, you can imagine that risk? She then taught her husband how to cut the cord after detangling which he did. Thank God there were no complications with both.
I was at my aunt's on Sunday and she and her husband were telling of their former neighbour who had all 6 sons at home, they said the 4one who she had in the hospital was the only one who did not survive so in subsequent pregnancies she refused going to the hospital.
All in all, we should put God first. Either at home or in the hospital, God should oversee our delivery by himself and make us deliver like the Hebrew women with no complications whatsoever. Amen

I don't know o but God just helped her, that's what I can say. She'll put all she needs including wrappers by her side. Hubby just wonders, person wey get money wey dey go hospital, wey dey chop beta dey get miscarriage, even complication and some people don't have the luxury of these things

U get liver ooo.pooing n seeing baby's head pop out is so scary.on top am, u still get mind cut cord. I can't imagine myself in that situation, infact i trust my husband will faint right there.
