You claim a lot of experience which i don't deny and yet you come up with this.
You can say the same for Emmanuel Dennis.

Your experiences should tell you that a player's footballing ability is not the only criteria that determines which team a player features in.

There are many considerations some subjective some objective, some fair some unfair and of course there is corruption and sharp practices. Football agent's create a whole range of manipulations as well.

Nonetheless, quality always rises and good players adapt to requirements needed.

For instance if you are not hard working ,have huge amounts of stamina with a good degree of physicality, the Burnley manager Dyche will not consider you.

Each team and Manager has a preference for a particular type of player.

But in in general quality of players always overcome.

But if you lack quality it will become very evident within a short term in this very short term career.

Super eagles is not a charity home where we should be reviving players career or helping the lowest division players just like Maduka Okoye ,he is lucky that onuachu got injured and he should take this chances ,but he should take note that club football is the most important in his career .

The new super eagles coach will look at performance from club side ,that should be noted ,maybe a good afcon can help him .

I don't understand what your point is.

Maduka is goalkeeper what does Onuachu forward position got to do with him, Maduka.

Actually when you say scores goals Dessers is in the Eredivisie but he is not outstanding in that league. About 14 game's and 4 goals.

He has only played 90 minutes once he is normally a sub in his club he is not in outstanding.

Some year's ago I was watching a player called Jerome Sinclair ( youngest player) to play for Liverpool at 16. I was watching him in comparison to a Dembele at Fulham.

I felt then that Sinclair looked good at youth level and playing in a particular team that supports him. I felt he didn't have what it takes to go forward.

My associate at the time was HOD recruitment for a premier League club. We concluded that Dembele was the real deal.

Fast forward after being sold to Watford for £5millon he has gone from EPL, Championship, League one, Eredivisie, he is now at CSKA in the Bulgarian league.

Meanwhile Dembele has thrived in several top level leagues he is now at Athletico Madrid.

Potential has a very short shelf life before it EXPIRES.

You cannot be a mouse in moi moi league and in a poor club and think somehow you go turn Lion for SE.

Look at the nonsensical proposition he is the only Midfielder that can play as a CM and can do long ball that's rubbish.

There are probably at least 50 young potential ( true age) Nigeria origin players in the EPL academies and or first teams, as well as too many to mention in the Championship.

If you go by across Europes top five league you will find similar as well. Your name is Chuks let me find one who is your name sake Lol there are quite a few with your name. Forgot to say he is 18

This man deliberately omitted the foreign born players when he compiled the initial list

Just imagine his lame excuse for technical director not to be knowledgeable of how a super eagle player who plies his trade in Holland top league plays.

I said he ommitted the foreign born players not Dessers players like Akpos, Bassey,Ebuehi when the first list was released remember me, subzero etal raised the issue then

And now from the rumour on willingness of pinnick to pay the fine to have Dessers in the team.... your coach says he does not and have never watch Dessers play

Me that is not a member of the coaching crew I know Dessers and I have watched him play here you have a Technical Director who have not watch him play...it means the reason for leaving out some of thjs players in the initial list is because he does not even know or have watched them play. That shows how knowledgeable he is

Yeah you are correct. However now that he has been selected, what's d way forward? It's a moot point at this stage to send Nwakali out of camp and out of the team. Perhaps he could come up with a pauli rossi stunt for us.

He didn't omit their names out of dubious intentions... He omitted it because they aren't core members of the team..And whose fault is that ? How many games did the aforementioned players play together under Rohr for them to be considered key members of the squad? the only player whose inclusion I'll fault is Ndah for Akpogunma, but again was Akpogunma a key member of the team under Rohr?

You are just looking for a way to blame the man..What he has done is what is normally done in many teams.. When a new coach take over a team, it is uncommon to see him overhaul the squad immediately. He usually stick with the core members of the team, because overhauling the squad at such a short notice could spell disaster..

Let the man rest...

Was using Maduka as an example of how he made the team from German 3rd or 4th division .

What brought onuachu to the discussion was because without him being injured Nwakali might not be at the afcon .

Onyekuru who replaced Osimhen has been a long term member of the squad for longer than Desser..Heck, I'm sure even Olayinka has played more minutes than Desser.
Whose fault is it if not Rohr's?

Believe it or not, you would have done the same thing if you were in Eguavon's shoe. He has very little time to prepare the year for the tournament. Not enough friendlies to try out new players,so it's better to stick with those who are already part of the team.

I want Dessers in the team too, because aside his good form, he is also very passionate about playing for Nigeria, and we can be assured that he would put in maximum efforts on the pitch, but I won't join in slandering Eguavon for a situation he didn't create...

More like Arsenal didn't value him enough to use the special talent clause. Awoniyi also had the same problem.

If they performed well enough in the clubs they were loaned to, they would have gotten either work permits or permanent deals. Awoniyi's work permit came after a stellar season with Union Berlin, but he chose to stay with them permanently.
Didn't Everton apply for work permit for onyekuru under the special talent clause? How come he never got it? Anyway, the point is that the reason Nwakali did not play for Arsenal is that he had no work permit, not because he was so horrible in training that he could not be played (which anyone who's unaware of the work permit issue will assume from that statement).

Don't count your chicken before they are hatched. Our friendly brother Nation Ghana should not be dismissed so easily.

By all means support your nation but it's not wisdom to denigrate another nation with emotive negative bias not objectivity.

Look at Ghana midfielder, all playing at high levels.

Ayew Andre ( no introduction needed)
Thomas Partey - Arsenal
Iddrisu Baba - Mallorca
Mubarak Wakaso (Shenzhen)
Mohammed Kudus - Ajax
Kamaldeen Sulemana - Rennes

These are Ghana's midfielders, l haven't put any one playing in leagues below the top 7 in Europe, apart from Wakaso who left La Liga, for Chinese ££$$.

Now let's look at our midfielders, would you say we have players in our midfielde that are COMPREHENSIVELY better than Ghana, l would not even suggesi it.

A friend should always underestimate your virtues and an enemy overestimate your faults“ — Mario Puzo

Onyeka - Brentford
Aribo - Rangers
Ndidi - Leicester
Ejuke - CSKA
Nwakali - SD Huesca - Segunda Division
Alex Iwobi - Everton.

If we adopt this your condescending dismissive attitude we will beaten by Sudan.

Because of European influence and the adoption of structural football team discipline and cohesion. The days of picking RAW TALENT from the AFCON seems to be a waning component in recent times.

Add to that the larger percentage of players are already playing in Europe.

The key attributes clubs are looking for is consistent outstanding performance not one offs and flash in the pan players.

Leicester got beat by Division 2 Newport county the third tier of English football in January 2019 in the FA cup. None of those players got any offers from the EPL however one did go to Bristol city.

Unless you do something stupendously outstanding in this AFCON clubs will still look at your club form before making a decision unfortunately.
Quite true. Just that better offers will definitely come.

Based on your analysis, if a player has not made it at 23 years, he has no chance. So why are you preaching on meteoric rise of Vardy, as if it is only Vardy that can have a meteoric rise after his early 20s.

You are the one with emotive bias here. Trying to paint a stall in a player's career as a failure when the player can still turn it around.

That is how you did the same with Iheanacho and Osimhen and failed woefully.

You try to kick people when they are down, forgetting your negative views of them is not their destiny.

Change my brother. You are filled with so much bias and hatred. You pray and wish people that are facing challenges fail.

I'm surprised you're saying this about Vardy, but we have the benefit of hindsight now so it's easy to explain his rise and success. How come you keep asking why Sadiq is still in Segunda if he is that good even though we see his stats season after season? Isn't it very likely that a team in a top league will snap him up? Doesn't he have a chance to rise just like Vardy did? Like Thegoodjoe said, you seem to just write off people when they're going through a bad patch. Except there's something I'm not getting.
