But to be honest those approved school agent provider from Nigeria are doing too much, once you contact them for admission, and they hear you have a study gap and Age bla bla bla, they will just jump their guns and said you can’t get the visa like say na den they give pple visa.

Hello Mercyfoundme

Truth be told, you didnt explain in details like you said , you just talked about how you got your funds from the sales of cars, you didn't really explain in details the lump sum in your application and how available the funds will be for your studies and living expenses cos they claim the lump sum in your account Is just for show off and that it won't be available. So what you wrote in the doc you attached didn't really address the Visa Officer's concerns on the lump sums, and this is because you were not patient enough to work with your Gcms notes..

But if you submitted the receipts of the several transactions made, that resulted to the lump sums amount, then that can fly... But you needed to have explained all these in your Letter of explanation i.e explaining the transactions made that resulted to each of the lump sum amounts..

If you wanna draft a quick LOE explaining in details the reason for each lump sum, you can do that with the hope that the Visa Officer isn't in the last stage ot your application..

And to the LOA, I didn't see in the pre-assesed notes of the Visa Officer where they requested for an updated LOA.. But since you said you saw it, you can send it to them via email to the office handling your application, to avoid any delay in them asking for it..

Submit your drafted LOE and your LOA and maybe some of your receipts to them, before a final decision is made on your application..

It will end in praise..

Peace

Good afternoon my elders in the house. I have been a guest/silent reader. I want to say a big thank you to everyone contributing on this platform. I have gained a lot here.

Please I need your advice regarding my present situation. I submitted my application on the 14th of May 2021, and it was refused (reason-personal assets and financial status) on the 27th of September after starting classes online since the 7th of September, although I have deferred my admission to September 2022 because we need to resume for second semester in person, I am going for a one year course.

I reapplied immediately on the 7th of October, yes, I understand I’m supposed to order for my notes at first to know the actual reason. I requested for it on the 14th of Nov and I got the notes 2 days ago. I have attached the notes below.

The VOs concern was based on lump sums in my account, luckily for me, in my reapplication, I explained in details why I have lump sums in my account, I explained the nature of my business, please gurus in the house help use your eagle eyes to see if my explanation did justice, and if I need to add more to it, I can raise a webform if there is need for it. I have attached the explanation I gave.

Also, I noticed in the pre assessment note, the VO noted that my LOA has expired, I have gotten an updated one, should I upload it or wait until they request for it??

Please help your boy @Frankrobbn @justmellow @makano @Liniana @legacyedition @lekiboboe @everybody
I am waiting for your replies…..Thank you.

Long post but I am certain this will encourage someone.

I started my study visa journey in 2019. I had wanted to go to Fanshewe College and so I contacted an agent from the list I got from the college. The agent I spoke to told me I didn't have a chance because I am 37 years old, I have just a BSC and my salary isn't up to 1m. My study gap is 16 years.
He told me he could help get the admission but he can assure me I won't get a visa.
I was very sad hearing what he said but I didn't allow it affect me.

I went online and started doing my research. I applied to three colleges. 2 offered me admission and 1 denied me. I picked 1 from the offer I got and applied for a visa myself. I didn't use any agent.

I got a medical request and IRCC said my medicals wasn't submitted by Qlife. I contacted Qlife and said they had transmitted the result and can't do it twice. I went into prayers and eventually my medical was updated to pass after 2 months and then the wait began.

Applied 15th August
Medical request 15th Sept
Medical updated to pass 15th Nov
PPR 6th Jan.

I just want to encourage those that are yet to apply, to please do so and those waiting, I wish you all the best. I summarized the journey but if you wish to ask any question, please feel free to contact me on queenlumidee@gmail.com.
Where do I get the consent form please. I need a direct link

Yes, I have gotten that mail twice now.

First on the 9th of Dec, 2021 which I responded to and then today again, same mail. I have resent it though.

We wait in Faith.

Anon123:

Maybe the one sent was not visible enough.

Did you get that. Seems the guy handling lagos ircc email is high on weed. Nigga actually sent a mail to some one saying thus "Kindly resend the First bank Statement account now".

Then he sent to another to send a clear PDF copies of the First bank statement he applied with meanwhile this applicant didnt use First bank at all but rather FCMB-First City Monument Bank.

Thank you for your reply Makano, I really appreciate you sir.

I will draft a quick LOE and explain how those lump sum came about, although my bank statement is about 197 pages with so many large funds, I will also attach some receipts from vehicles sold.

No, the VO did not request for an updated LOA, I said they noted it has expired. I am asking whether to upload the updated one I just got or wait until they request for it?

Hi Biodunoflagos,

Go ahead and submit your visa application, you still have about 10months expiration left, but make sure you start the process of your new passport ASAP. once you get your new passport, you can send it through Webform or email to IRCC. If you reside in Lagos I can link you up with an officer and you will get your PP Immediately.

Wait for gurus to throw more light.

All the best.

Did you submit the initial bank statement you submitted when you submitted your application or did you submit a fresh up to date statement as at when it was requested?

It’s not $41K.
You’re mixing it up.

It’s either $20K or $21K depending on the term you’re applying for…

CAD$41K per year

Do you have your transcript handy? Google list of Dli institutions in Canada, check under the province you need to apply to, you'll find list of colleges with pgwp you can apply to. If you're looking for a college with cheap tuition you can check Newbrunswick Community college and Holland college Prince Edward Island. You can also check Memorial University of Newfoundland. Best of luck.

Your Response to the questions below would enable you to get a response on the type of PG.Cert program at a College you should go for

- what did you studied in the university ?

- what year did you graduate ? (to address study gap)

- Do you have a job? If yes, what is the name of your Job, and what are your Job duties? (to know if your Job is related to your Degree)

- How many years work experience do you have in that Job?

- Is your Job related to what you studied in the University?

Happy New Year my fellow Nairalanders! I'm glad to be in your midst this year again.

To provide answer to your question, it doesn't appear reasonable for your brother who is resident in Canada to sponsor you and your wife. He already has his dependents in Canada which the visa officer is well-informed about and a simple background check on his immigration status would delcare same. My professional advice for you is that you (the husband) should fund your account and sponsor the trip to Canada.

I wish you the very best.

It will end in praise

You should have sent an email to the admission office before they close your application. I got an email too from NSCC first week of October that an agent provider will contact me within 3weeks, that was after I passed my portfolio requirement. When the 3weeks lap I jejely sent an email to NSCC that no one as contacted me through email or phone number.
